I just bought the hardcover Graphic Novel volume 1. I can't wait to read it (I never read any of them online.. and it's nice to have them in such a nice book).

So has anyone seen the commercials for Heroes on NBC lately during the Olympics?
This show is getting ready to lose me.
Somehow, Nathan and Nikki are still alive. That makes me mad. I will still watch the stupid show(for now), but if they're going to kill someone, they need to be dead.

I am pretty sure I am done with the show. I will probably watch when I can the episodes of this season.... but the S1 ending and S2 just did me in. Of course, I felt the same way after S2 and the first 6 episodes of S3 of Lost so who knows.

I skimmed through earlier parts of this thread, and I have to say, it's surprising to see so much conversation from me on a show that I literally haven't given a second's thought to since the finale last season.
I'm seriously considering just dropping it.

What a shame.
Such potential.
But as I'm locked into Chuck, and the two are coupled together on Mondays, I will be making a last ditch effort to see if it can be saved.

Chuck is awesome.
The only other show from last season I watch is Pushing Daisies..... but that's mostly because of the work of Jim Dale (voice of HP audio books).

My wife got me into that, begrudgingly at first, but I'm quite looking forward to it. The colors and the music, combined with Dales voice just give the show a very unique quality. It doesn't hurt that 'Chuck' is a grade-A cutie. (Not to be confused with the other Chuck, who makes my wifes pants feel funny)

I love the 2 chucks. one i think is really cute, and the other i like in a purely platonic way. can you guess which is which?
As for heroes, i'll still watch. but good lord, between those characters still being alive, and the HORRIBLE storyline with the twins jumping the border (which had ABSOLUTELY NO PAYOFF!), i really am *this* close to dropping it. Maybe it will come back strong after being affected by the strike? who knows.

I'm not ready to throw in the towel on heroes yet... I'm start getting pumped a week before the season opener.

Yup, Life was really good. Although I'm confused/conerned by the talk of this season being a "new beginning" for the show. They're claiming the season premiere this season will be a like a second pilot. I have no idea what that means.

I watch Chuck and Pushing Daisies as well... Not sure how long of a shelf life Pushing Daisies has... just seems like it's a difficult plot to keep going on season after season while maintaininging enough interest.

edit: You know what, screw it. Start a new one. Either it's going to be great, or it's going to be the biggest waste of a tv show... either way it gets it's own thread.
I am looking forward to tomorrow, but it better be good. This show is on a very short leash after that abortion last season.
