The idea of relying on anyone with the Lions, who has a rookie throwing to him...

Yeah but look at his QB's last year.
My focus keeps shifting to Berrian. He has been flat out awful so far this season, and Brett Favre has traditionally had a favorite receiver at the expense of all others. He is definitely not a spread-it-around kind of guy. So the fact that he hasn't clicked with Berrian really concerns me.
Turner/Johnson > Peterson/Berrian....right?
Still conflicted.

I plugged the 49ers D in a couple of my leagues due to byes/bad matchups. I'm pretty happy about the way that turned out.

Looks like my late Mendenhall pickup is going to be the difference for me this week. Very satisfied.

I tried to pick him up when I saw Parker was going to miss the game. Dang it!

Of COURSE this is the week I chose to sit the Dolphin's D.
I still think I have my matchup this week locked up - it's basically going to come down to Donald Driver vs. Bernard Berrian.

My team has life. I feel like I could have that team like the Giants a few years ago, you don't want to run into my team come playoff time, even if you have home field advantage!

I think the one thing this year has taught me is that I bit off more than I could chew trying to do five leagues at once.

You're not 0-4 yet... You have a 9 point lead with Mason Crosby left to play against Donald Driver - you never know what will happen considering how streaky WR's are in fantasy...

As well you should be a guy projected for 12 points and ends up with 34 wow!
But even if he would have produced just his projection you would have won by two.

I need some divine intervention tonight to counter u2's curse. Hopefully Sidney Rice catches a pass, runs the wrong direction and fumbles it in the endzone into the hands of Donald Driver.
Twice.

I love the fact that I survived this week playing one quarterback only. When I saw Warner had a bye and looked at the waiver wire, I had to make a decision - Jamarcus Russell or no quarterback. I decided to go with no quarterback.

I have Trent Edwards available for trade in the D-M league if anyone wants him for their bye week (he has the same bye as Favre, so I don't have much use for him now that Ryan is through his bye...)

I made you a trade offer for him.
Willie Parker, deny it if you want, but he scored 20 against Cinncinati then got turf toe. But he may be someone that'll pay off later in the season.

LoL Titans? 4-0 sure but you two are ranked 1 and 2 in least points scored against you, lucks been on both your sides so far. I gotta call you both pretenders instead of contenders so far. I guess yall got great defenses heh. Maybe yall are like the Tennessee Titans, great regular season but flame out come playoff time!
I'm ready to play either of you, I'm #1 in points scored. (but unluckily #2 in points allowed.) And I think FTW is for real too as he's #2 in points scored yet #1 points allowed. Watch out for either of us.

Seeking some trade advice here. Standard scoring, except one-half-point per reception. Two RB's, two WR's, and a flex. I have managed to piece together a pretty awful team:
QB
Flacco
Warner
RB
Jones-Drew
Jacobs
Barber
Sproles
Jerome Harrison
WR
Fitzy
Roy Williams
Kenny Britt
Sidney Rice
TE
Heap
JerMichael Finley!
My WR's are flat killing me. I have been offered:
Greg Jennings
Brandon Marshall
Ocho-Stinko
Hightower
for:
Fitzy
Warner
Roy Williams
Barber
Would you do it?

Every player in that trade has huge upside and huge downside - they've all looked like a bunch of (fantasy) has-beens with flashes of former brilliance so far this season, but this is the point in the schedule where player trends are set... Do you want to roll with the devil you know or the devil you don't?

I just pulled a coup in the Spygate Freakout league last night!
First I traded Leon Washington for Steve Breaston, a small move, but one that netted me a receiver as trade bait... Then I turned to a guy who's convinced that McNabb is going to save his season and pulled a McNabb/Felix/Breaston for Palmer/DeAngelo/Hester trade (he doesn't like DeAngelo Williams for some reason - probably because he's nuts!)
This team is so beastly that Clinton Portis is the worst player on my roster...
QB: Flacco, Palmer
RB: Slaton, DeAngelo, Cadillac, Portis
WR: Wayne, Moss, Mason, Hester
TE: Heath Miller, Shockey
D/ST: Saints, Colts (temp)
K: Tynes (NYG)

I waffled between Pettigrew and Winslow for my bye week TE all week...and totally made the wrong choice.
Oh well, I still feel pretty good about taking Flaco down right now.

I'll be glad just to get my studs done with their Byes, I like having all the big players out in one week and just get it over with.
My guys are putting up a valiant effort this week, minus DA...he's just put up a big brown turd.

That's why I just went without a quarterback last week on Warner's bye. I wasn't going to waste a roster spot with a spare like Russell or Anderson.

D-M: Moss + Megatron + 49ers D/ST = 2 points
S-F: Flacco + DeAngelo + Moss + Mason = 16 points

I've already sent out some offers in the DM league, but some WRs (like Knox) are on the block and I'm looking for a RB in return...take a look or throw me some offers.

There seems to be a Running Back shortage. I know I need one. No wonder U2 is 5-0! What a strategy, draft/horde all the RBs = win?
BTW I'm projected to lose to Jthig by like 1000. I always catch you guys on your best week. He's projected 182 no buys except his D which is an easy replacement. Then you look at him next week half his team is on bye.

It was a terrible, terrible week to have Colston, Jennings and Gates out...and Cotchery injured plus his value is down because of Edwards...
And I still almost caught thig. But not really. All I really did was waste the best week A. Bradshaw will ever have.

I have a question: Why do so many of you guys drop players in preparation for adding players through waivers?
