Dirk Nowitzki will get statues. First, how about a street?

@NickVanExit: Nowitzki Way is coming. It’s replacing Olive St. which runs right in front of Victory Plaza and the AAC all the way to 75.

Is that the same Danny Bollinger that is/was the Mavs photographer with all the accusations against him?...

Yeah, looks like it was an error, carry-over from a previous year’s roster... I guess that explains why one team had an extra player.
Heroes Foundation includes, then removes, Danny Bollinger from celebrity baseball game roster

@espn_macmahon: The city of Dallas has approved the renaming of a street to Nowitzki Way. It was Olive Street, which runs by the American Airlines Center. “I’m excited for Dirk,” Mark Cuban said.

Two months after calling himself 'Texan,' thrilling Mavs fans, Dirk Nowitzki has started the long path to becoming a U.S. citizen

it's because several years ago Nowitzki told The News that, some day, he intended to go through the time-consuming process of becoming a United States citizen, giving him dual citizenship here and in his native Germany
|
He doesnt have automatic dual citizinship. If he takes the US one, he loses the german one. Just under special circumstances you can apply to keep the german one too (before you take another one too).
Lets see.

I'd imagine being a US citizen is more important to him, since his kids were born here and Germany isn't a dick about citizenship like the US is these days.

Na, you forgot how he talks about germany, the olympic games etc.
He wont give up the german one, thats a huge deal. Their kids have the citizinship anywy, him staying on a longterm greencard shouldnt be any problem too if he cant keep the german one.

Dirk was named 2019's NBPA Most Respected Award Winner. Nice to see his peers continue to pay tributes to Dirk. Another player that just retired is sharing the award which is total BS, but I choose to focus on Dirk only.

I think you have Jordan and Lebron's personalities mixed up.. Jordan doesn't show his a lot, but Lebron does. And what he's shown, well, you should probably knock him down about 4-5 points...

Mavs’ Jalen Brunson admits his first and only season with Dirk Nowitzki was ‘special’
https://clutchpoints.com/mavs-news-j...i-was-special/
Quote:
“It was fascinating to watch Dirk handle his last season,” Brunson said. “To be a teammate of his was very special. He’s hilarious. He can crack jokes all day. And the best part about it is he can take jokes too."

Someone asked me the other day how good Kevin Durant can be when he comes back from the injury. I said, "well, he'll probably have no vertical, so his ceiling will be Dirk, and that's still a very high ceiling."

Dirk is bigger. He can post up. Durant can't do do that. He is too skinny.

He doesn’t have to be big to post up. Durant will able to use his height to his advantage. He’s already worked on Dirk’s fade-away. I imagine you start seeing it more when he comes back.
