No, I watched it all. It was a dumb move to let Moss run free on that last play. They did a great job on him all night and had protection with the safety. They drove down the field very efficiently on that last drive in regulation.
The Jets looked SOLID in the first half and just lost control by giving up that late TD in the first half. That made this win less "impressive" but it's definitely a huge confidence booster for them.

Damn I didn't watch a single play of the game tonight. Was kind of busy with 2 other poopy sporting events. I see now I should have had my attention elsewhere.

I figured this game had a lot more excitement/drama to it than game 8 of the NBA season.
I was right!
That AFC is a tough one to crack right now. The Jets have little time to recover, next up: The Titans @ Tennessee.

Favre pretty much managed the game as much as they wanted him too. He made smart reads and fooled the Patriots secondary quite a bit and his WRs turned 3 yard dump routes into significant yardage plays.
Jones rushed for a 100 yards as well...
Solid game.

I really dislike Brett Favre, but I absolutely agree. They are 100% legit this year. Even Thomas Jones is playing really well.

Thomas Jones is a very good RB and has been. Look at the Bears with him, they go to the Super Bowl. Without him they don't even go to the playoffs. The Defense did not get that much worse the next season, it was their offense that stunk with Benson and Grossman.

Eagles and Bungles potentially TIED after OT?
That can't help the Eagles. They'll have one more crack at it.

Bengals just refuse to take wins when they're given to them. Well. I suppose a tie is better than a W for the Cowboys....

WOW. Neither team wanted that one at all.

How can you be an NFL quarterback for that many years and not know that. Wow.
But why even keep up with time in overtime, just whoever scores first wins. No matter how long it takes.

Both the Eagles and Bengals should be ashamed. I'm glad I didn't have to watch that OT.

Tie games should count worse than a loss IMO. That's despicable.

Interesting, almost sort of philosophical, question. Less than zero, it seems.
I, however, disagree. I see a tie as an honorable conclusion to a well-fought battle by worthy foes. I think the world could use more ties.

I saw some message boards say he said that and I just knew that maybe he was joking and the media didn't catch on. He was dead serious. I just don't understand how that's possible. The last one was in 2002. Its rare and I know the college game is different and is done right IMO but seriously. McNabb should know better. I'd be disappointed if I heard Romo say something like that. I just can't trust a guy back there who doesn't even know the rules of football. I hope they don't chew him up too bad in Philly lol. You gotta feel for him and Brees. THey just don't have very good receiving cores.

I think when I play McNabb in Fantasy football, it curses him to a bad day. Now if someone would just trade me Eli Manning and Jason Campbell, I could do some real damage...

This is the part where you say:
"but I have 3 children - I didn't want them, but I kind of like them, although I still don't want them to win a ring, unless they grow up and play for the Nets... Or the Knicks... Or the Cavs... Just not if they grow up to have anything to do with the Mavericks (who are one of my favorite teams ever as long as they don't win any rings either... GO GIANTS!)"

Wow, Phil Dawson just hit a 56-yarder to put Cleveland up 2 over Buffalo with 1:39 left to play. Good game going on.

And crappy special teams play just put Buffalo on their own 45 so they still have plenty of time to get into field goal range.

Well damn.....Bills might feel like killing themselves after losing to a 50+ yard field goal in their own stadium for a 2nd consecutive Monday Night game. They might not want to be on Monday Night anymore.

Especially considering they missed a 47 yarder to win it themselves.
