I'd say hot hand, but it was really more of a case of cold hand(s)... Kyrie put the Cavs in a deficit by chucking up garbage all night (4-17), Lue decided to go with a PG who had a little more discipline. Love (4-12) got benched for Frye as well. Cavs won with their 2nd & 3rd best players riding pine. Good job, coach.

They are a year late in firing Casey. I hate to say it. But they are playing old NBA. And the Bucks are a terrible matchup. They need to find their Fizdale. Maybe Stotts and Casey can switch teams?

In this particular game, they don't win without his decision to bench 2 starters (but we all know that LeBron is superstar/coach/GM). Give Lue his moment.

Hard to say. I've seen some really nice sets out of timeouts and nice in game adjustments. Part of being a good coach is having a good group of assistantsand knowing when to cede to their expertise. And also knowing when to get out of the way

Giannis may win MVPs. Multiple. He turned 22 a few months ago(!). And is still learning. Wish Donnie had had the cajones to lay them on the table and say to Cuban- "Giannis or I walk". He makes Kawhi- who is also a freak- look positively earthbound. If he develop a shot 3/4 as reliable as Kawhi in the next two years he will dominate for a decade.

Love and Kylie were both fine as far as I know, but the backups were the ones who got them back in the game so coach left them out there. Looks like it worked.

Been saying it for a while now, he will fade quicker than any superstar today. He relies so heavily on his elite athleticism to put him on that level. If he doesn't learn to harness it, to play within himself, and get others involved, OKC will be perennial 1-and-done in the playoffs. That roster and some of the contracts do not help, but what big(ger)-time free agent wants to play with RWB if they seriously consider and watch the way he played this year, and even with Durant.

LeBron was lights out, unconscious in that 2nd half. Really all game, but Paul George had himself one hell of a first half. I saw a little bit of a difference with LeBron. He still whined a few times but kind of reigned himself in the two times I thought he'd blow up on Thompson or the refs. Kept his cool and won that game. The cup-back slam where Monta fled to the corner was an understated monster jam.
Don't want to forget PG, what a stud.

Monta could have tried to draw a charge, but in all likelihood he knew he was going to get posterized.

Can't say I blame him. Probably feels like getting hit with a Mack truck. Besides it's Lebron, so they probably would have called a blocking foul even if he took it right in the chest.

100% but I was more noting how emphatic LeBron was still able to slam that given the slight movement to the corner. I would bail to the corner 3 ten times out of ten.

Yeah but they still won last night. Gotta have them lose in the first round for any hope of implosion.

He and CP3 have player options this summer, good chance they both opt out.

RW is difficult to watch at times. His shot selection is so poor. Does that team ever run plays? The end of that game was pretty wild. Both teams made terrible plays. RW just made more.

I didn't watch the game, I can only stand so much RWB and Harden ball dominance, having them both in the same series bleeds me dry through the eyes. Id be interested to know Russ's +- in the 4th vs 1-3 tho. Just looking at the box score he played all but 10 mins. And while he was on the floor they were +14 and while he was off the floor they were -18... in just 10 mins? But the clips I've seen of the 4th he looks out of control, as usual.

He was just throwing up garbage. Forcing 3's that they didn't necessarily need at the time. Turned the ball over a few times late in the game too. I still haven't seen coach calling any plays out there. They need shooters to surround RW and they don't have any.

To me it just completely throws away his great regular season. All of the triple doubles in the world don't mean squat if you don't have a clue how to play under control.

Hard not to cheer for the Jazz. Down a center. Deandre talking smack. Hayward looking gangly of t there and then plays despite getting Iv fluids.

Yeah, I'm just 100% beat down with those awful State Farm commercials of CP3 and Deandra. It's like I'm watching playground basketball where the little brother has to play on the big brother's team just because Mom said so even though he absolutely sucks.

What did he say? I must have missed it. I did watch the video or Hayward blowing right past him for a dunk on a loop for about 2 min. That made me chuckle. Have to agree those State Farm commercials are bad. DAJ is kind of a dick in those too. Trees fall on CP3's car and DAJ starts laughing. If that happened to my friend I don't think I'd laugh.

Cant see Paul walking away from his super max on his last contract...
But im loving Griffins injury. He is fake tough douche on the court, flopping on the other end and fouling hard and dirty on the other end. He deserves getting sidelined with this toe crap
And for Rivers and Ballmers: Karma is a bitch, huh?

Whatever happened to the Clippers getting Jordan more involved on the offense? Sucks to be lied to, aye?
