Sounds about right. Though you make it sound like it's a desirable sacrifice.
It's more like if you put on a Clippers jersey, the basketball gods will take an ACL and smite you with atleast one year of unpredictably poor field goal percentages.

Or perhaps those parts and talents have been judiciously collected over many dark years for this Frankensteinian triumph!!!!

Well, the all stars have been announced. It seems to be fair apart from Yao at center.

The rare Double Flop by two masters of the craft:

Just imagine a team:
Paul/Barea
Gino/Bell
AK
Gasol/Cardinal
Varejao
Backup SF and C missing

The master of course...Manu. It's really a testament to his flopping because he sensed Bell flopping and was instinctively able to out flop him.

I don't know if this is possible, but someone needs to mod this gif so that Bell yanks off a toupee from Manu's head.

Westbrook with 13-6-7 at the half, good shot a triple double, OKC only with 4 point lead at half over Washington
Rashard has been playing well of late

Gortat is beasting.
15/8 and it's not quite halftime. Even hit a three. Guy has been showing what he can do with consistent minutes.

Chandler/Gortat would have been a perfect combo...

Yep, not surprising for me guy can really ball and yet he is coming off the bench after Robin Lopez
He really has a nice touch near the rim, doesn't go up too strong

HOLY S**t KG is such a f'ing low class douche bag. This POS doesn't even deserve to be in the league. Did anyone else see that? For the SECOND time tonight he blatantly slides his foot under Frye while he's shooting in an obvious attempt to turn his ankle. Except the 2nd time, to make things even worse, he has the audacity to hit Frye in the nuts WHILE he's shooting AND slides his foot under him. What a colossal pric. Both times it was his clear intention to injure Frye. They tossed KG thankfully.

I'm not even talking about his BS tough guy posturing. We all know KG is a fake thug who gets his ass whooped when push comes to shove (see Anthony Peeler beatdown). But this is straight up maliciously trying to injure a guy TWICE. This is a whole different level.

And no suspension so that the Celts/Lakers showdown stays intact for Sunday. Nice having Stern on your side!

I'm not afraid enough of OKC to take any joy in watching Miami win.
(the Lakers and Spurs are the only exceptions...)

Good to see that OKC and the Lakers lost, as did New Orleans yesterday. Gives us a little bit of breathing room prior to our road trip.
On that note, a healthy Celtics team is scary good and will be extremely tough to beat in the playoffs.
