We're still in striking distance if we play good D, make our FTs, and hit some 3s.

Well, I for one am proud of this team. They gelled at the right time, but they were just overmatched in this series. Especially with a very hobbled JHo.
We'll see where this team goes this offseason. I have no idea what moves could be made.

And that's probably it. Let them get a dunk and then we turned it over.

Congrats to the Nuggets.
Thanks for the fun year Mavs. It was bumpy, but hey, we overachieved I think. They fought hard.

I'm glad this was, what seemed to me, the fairest reffed game of the series. It is nice going out and not thinking of what could have been like game 3.

Is there any team that will give Kidd a longterm MLE deal? I think they will go all after Marbury and Lue first...

Everyone on the floor right now not named Brandon Bass or JJ Barea needs to be traded.

There will always be that "what could've been" though with this series in general. I felt like if the Mavs got game three, this thing was going 7, and we had a legitimate shot. After game 3 though this series was over. That's what is so tough.

Thank You Dirk Nowitzki and Brandon Bass for the effort put out tonight.
Great season.
We are really one consistent all-star away from winning a championship.
DO NOT LOSE HOPE IN THIS TEAM.

That was the worst defensive effort I've seen in quite some time.
Oh well.

Congrats to your team. They played a lot better than ours. Melo took his game to the next level in the series.

We can keep Hollins for cheap. Keep Kid to teach JJ and Shaq for Hollins, it could work .

Ryan Hollins can stay too.
Great job proving the haters wrong this post-season Dirk. He had a fantastic post season in spite of everything that was going one.
Good luck Nuggets, you'll need it when you play the Lakers.

This team needs some fresh blood. If only we had a young scoring/slashing guard for extra offense...

Congrats to the Nuggets. You played a very good series. I'm sorry that you're not ordained by the league to accomplish anything, so you'll be going out in the next round, but at least you have quite a budding star in Carmelo Anthony on your hands.

Meh...Denver is a significantly better team than us. We played our asses off to win one game and nearly win game 3. Games 1 and 2 we hung in their the first three quarters both times. Tonight we even had a chance to win. I really think we maxed out, I don't know how many games our aged guys could make it against Denver if it went any further.
