LOL. Dirk has made NO 3 pointers in the playoffs this season. 0 of 5.

Pop should be afraid, nay, petrified to have tony parker in the game right now.
But we don't play that way. I guess I'm just a hockey guy.

.500 in the playoffs isn't bad. Half the teams lose in the first round, so they're all under .500, and teams that lose in the second round faster than they won in the first round are also under .500.
Then there are other teams that make the conference finals and still finish exactly .500, like the 2003 Mavs.
The playoffs are much tougher than the regular season, man.

Does Dirk even get a friggin' touch in the offense? I think the onkly reason he shot that 1 3 pointer is because he knew he wasn't going to get the ball back.

What could Wright possible give us in this series? He can't guard anyone and he's our worst guy on offense.
Dirk just doesn't have what it takes in the playoffs. We can keep bringing up the 50 points against Phoenix but that was THREE YEARS AGO. He has been awful since then.

We have home court advantage.
The only thing that has happened so far in this series is that we stole a game on their court.
I'm going to keep telling myself this while I drink this vodka.

i really dont ever want to see 3 guards josh and dirk on the court at the same time - that is the absolute worst lineup on defense and not great on offense either because the spacing is wrong.
it also gets no rebounds.
we lose today because of poor rebounding and poor shooting.

Mavs are getting doubled on the glass...it's almost as sure a bet as you can make...about what the mavs do when they don't rebound.
Bass has 1...I think singleton/hollins would have helped to bring some energy...brandon hasn't been able to.

This. People keep saying he's "cold"
Bull.
He was 3-7 in the first half and had 6 fta's, yet we didn't go to him at all. In the 3rd we went to him even less so he forced up a few shots because he was touching it 6 possessions in a row. That's on RC.

If the Mavs want to win this series, Carlisle is going to have to have Dirk score the ball. They can't count on Barea to win them 3 more games.

You either need to indicate sarcasm better, stop drinking, or just step away from the keyboard and reevalute things.
Those are the only options.

Yes, which he uses to hold the ball while he guides it with his right. If you play basketball, you know this makes a big difference.

Dirk took plenty of shots that he ordinarily hits tonight. Just wait.
A 7 game series (especially with the atrociously long scheduling of the NBA) is a loooong, drawn out affair.
You guys remember this, right? We've been through this before. Every win feels like heaven and every loss feels like you'll never be happy or win again.
Take a deep breath. Calm down. We're 3 days into a 2 week process.

Dirk was good last year, I'll give him that. But the Miami series / GS Series / This series (so far) indicates that something is wrong in the noggin. That's 3 out of the 4 last series that he's been bad. Considering how good he normally is, don't you think something is wrong there?

dirk just gets really bad bounces today.
if some of those fall in (say 40%) we'd be down only 6 or 7 now....

I had a nice long 3 round process to go through with the Stars last year. I consider myself more experienced now
(plus, we're the damn 6 seed playing the 4x world champs. What exactly are you people expecting?)

Terry has hit a couple of shots to make his line respectable. Dirk needs to stop shooting the 3s.

Dirk going 0 for the century on 3 pointers is unacceptable.

nba.com boxscore currently lists six Spurs on the floor. That would explain a lot.
