I wish I would have some... writing your thesis and simultaneously following the Mavs isn't that easy all the time

Here's the dilemma for the Mavs regarding their competition. The Mavs are a couple of games ahead of Phx and a couple of games behind Utah. If they win tonight, then they definitely want Phx to beat Utah twice. If they lose though, they want Utah to winat least 1 of those games.

Nice save by Nowitzki, but unfortunately to granger. Happens, not his fault.

Nice. But if you noticed he didn't use his left hand to lay it in off the glass.

The two fouls Hollins committed is what Hollins can't do. He needs to foul guys around the rim, protecting the paint.

Dirk rarely gts anything easy on the break. It's like they don't look for him when he is filling the lane.
And defensively why not put Dirk on Hibbert and Singleton on Murphy? Singleton has the quickness to bother Murphy. And Dirk has more size than Singleton and will bother Hibbert more.

He gets too many chippy/sloppy fouls and he just can't afford to do that. He has a skillset, but he has a lot of holes in his game.

BG, I agree he is sloppy. That is because he hasn't really played b-ball much. He needs court time.

Terry is too shot happy on those plays. I hate those shots in transition. They may go in but it doesn't put pressure on the defense at all.

Nice attack by Dirk, there. Wish he would think to try and go up with two hands and hammer it though.

It by no means excuses him for his shooting woes/shot selection last night...but Wright's defense does allow me to cut him some slack on his shooting. It doesn't mean he can be a slouch, but I can have some forgiveness for the woes. He usually has to take the top cover the 2nd one and that wears him down.
I think he's made some positive strides from the start of this year and he's progressing nicely.

Yes, he was bad yesterday, no doubt about that. But his defense tonight his just nice. Btw, about shooting: Dirk just missed two open shots. Normally he has to make them.

Hehe, kinda forgot about the early start.
I'm here, though. Interesting that JET got the start. Maybe Carlisle is wising up and realizes JJ is not the Jedi he has been looking for...
