Fire AJ and get someone else in before the window that is the prime of Dirk's career closes...

Is Mark Aguirre available? With Donald Hodge and Roy Tarpley as assistant coaches, the Mavs would dominate the league for years to come.

Ding,Ding,Ding...we have a winner. I believe this also. All this talk about "we need to prove ourselves in the playoffs" has everyone wanting to skip 7 months and begin the playoffs. Avery and the team has got to figure out a way to keep the fire lit until May.
Just my Opinion

Since when did sucking in the regular season lead to winning the championship?

Wade established that two seasons ago.
Oh wait, you didn't mean that...

Chicago would never do that deal.

Someone call Defense and tell him that the Mavs need him back in the rotation badly! That is.. if anyone knows where to him. Did we trade him to another team or something? Just wondering.

as long as we are playing our best basketball at the end of the season. we are still on pace for 55 wins, and we are nowhere near our potential as team--everyone should just have a beer and just chillax. go mavs

Against Portland, a Mavs Defense sighting.
All it took was what I said. The chance to practice, and dropping most of the new guys out of the rotation. AJ goes back to starting last year's line up and the defense returns.
The problem with that apprach is we need to intergrate Hassell and Jones because they are better perimeter defenders than Terry and Stack. Doing so will be painful, and sometimes ugly. But it must be done.
Grow some cajones, Mavs fans. Quit yelling these guys suck, just because they haven't figured out how to fit in yet. They don't have to fit in November, they need to shine in the spring. Lighten up.

it's the 16th game of the season. i'll start panicking around the 70th game if we are still playing defense this way. that being said, jet, stack, and bass have been absolutely atrocious to this point on defense.
its like i'm having mental flashbacks back to the steve nash days when 3rd string backup spares would light up the mavs pg for career highs.

we give up 97.3 points per game, good for 14th best in the NBA with Damp/Jones/Hassell missing huge chunks of the season and George not yet playing.
the most important statistic is point differential.
we rank 7th in the NBA at +4.9 points
