No way. They're only playing at half power but they're still one level above us. Honestly, it's frustrating to see how much better they are. Before the season, I thought we would finish ahead of them. Now they would probably sweep us if we faced them in the first PO round. Man, Kerr is a genius, best rookie coach in a long long time...

Rick is a great coach in his rookie season as well. I mean we got the players, but some of them just didn't play as we expected. We need to bring it on, like what we did against OKC.

When Dirk is missing FT as well, you can simply sum up tonight.

It's always saying that, freethrows are the shots u got the most time to aim, to take a shot, it's just poor for us to missing those, especially we can make it, they aren't poor free throw shooters.

So, little JJ and old man Rick are the two Mavs to stand up to Livingston.

Yeah, that was embarrassing, considering those Warriors did not even play their asses off.

Most inconsistent team in the NBA. I'm scared to ask for cliffs on Livingston

Meh. Onto the next one. It was almost like a preseason game. Mostly case Mavs are pretty much securing the 7 spot.

Dirk is sexually assaulted. Team just shrugs it off. This is not a team.

I certainly would have felt better if somebody would have retaliated even if it ment being thrown out. I would have liked Dirk to at least shove the guy or walk into his face and dare him to give him a reason to start something. Just something to show more fight. The closest thing was JJ fouling around the neck area and RC jawing with Livingston. Fans seemed to rally more than the team which is both very cool that our fans stood up and very sad that we as a team didn't respond.

Steve Kerr exposed Cuban's team as a bunch of soft undersized washed up scrubs.
I'm thankful for that, tbh.

Agreed. It just reeks of players who do not care. I've played on church basketball teams with more fire. The refs should have tossed him, but the Mavs should have made it very hard for Kerr to keep him in the game. Instead it looked like they purposely went to him.

I watched the video and I don't think a lot of guys saw it when it happened. Smirk should have escalated it though.

Mavsmoneyball.com has the vine video of what happened.
I just heard Dirk being asked about the incident on the radio, and Dirk didn't seem that pissed off about it. He said that Livingston is claiming that he was just trying to play good defense and that it happened by accident. Dirk calls Livingston a "good dude" and that he's going to give him the benefit of doubt. Maybe that explains why the Mavs didn't try to retaliate back at Livingston.

I'm not sure what the vine looks like but the one on youtube that replays it a few times sure looks like Livingston grabs Dirk's jersey with one hand pulls for leverage and hits dirk in the pills with the other then pulls after the contact. His facial expression looks like he is using a lot of force as well I'm not sure how that is incidental contact while playing good defense. I mean if I'm playing ball and saw that up on the screen and saw gsw players smiling on the bench and Livingston smiling and Curry mock booing Livingston with a smile... I think I'm amped up the rest of the game. I'd say a player like JET would have locked in and there is no way you could have calmed his trash talking down. But that's just my opinion.

If you watch the replay there is no doubt that he did it on purpose. It was being played on the scoreboard while being reviewed. The players can't let a single free throw be shot without looking at the replay of the foul on the scoreboard. I find it hard to believe they didn't watch it.
