Not saying this is a bad thing, but Carmelo Anthony's game seems to be becoming more Antoine Walker-like everyday.

Don't forget the three step basket in the paint by Paul and the travelling by Anthony. - That means 10 points given to the USA by the refs in the first quarter alone.
Then Nowitzki is called for his third foul (two of them were very arguable).
Germany is playing some great ball, great defense and without the refs help team USA would be in some deep trouble right now.

I think for most Dirk fans the only way he can get beat is if the refs "help" the other team.

Word. I don't really know the international rules that well, but the game looks to be pretty evenly called to me.

Defense breaks down with the lack of Femerling, and offense aint hitting anything. Game is under control for the US at the moment. Either Dirk lights it up in the fourth, or things are pretty much sealed.

Demond Greene. Jumping into Wade when he realized Wade was going for the Dunk and stuffing the ball with Wade ending up on his back
Dirk got 6 late points now on FT´s, Germany still down double digits end of the 3rd.

Buzzer beating three by Chris Paul to make it a 15 point lead going into the fourth.

The only thing this comments shows is that you don't know anything about FIBA travelling rules.

i guess he's tired. i mean 104 nba games are a heavy load as well. Dirk needs to relax. Offensive boards and to's are killing us. Femerling is useless...

this is effing ridiculous and i want the US to win. A) at the begining of the second half, they got away with about 7 consecutive fouls and now its just getting funny.

Team USA is just another level of physical competition. We´re 1-2 players short or real international level atm, having a solid scoring guard on the team and another Center to share time with Femerling would certainly help.
Carmelo Anthony is by far the best player on the US team on the tourney so far.
I´m looking forward for the game US vs winner of Spain / Argentina.
US vs. Greece (or is it France? Missed it, but it should be greece) should be a phsyical but unattractive game.
