The area in Austin is Westlake and Sandra Bullock did buy a home or start building a home here. The development did not continue due to the builder's financial issues is the story I heard. I don't know if she went ahead and built a house here or not.

She does supposedly have a home on Lake Travis, that much I've heard for sure.. but I do mean Southlake, a.k.a. NE Tarrant County I work and live just west of there, a lot of the peeps I work with live there. One guy who's been there awhile said this last week.. made it sound like she'd either just bought a house there, or maybe just built one. I'm not sure which. Anyway, not that it matters, Ummmmm OK will beat us all to her.. hehe

Fire on the Amazon is definitely a movie for chiwas to check out.
horrible movie, but he'll enjoy the view.
for the record...sandra bullock is highly overrated in virtually every category.
Not that good looking..not a very good actress.
Anyways, brad pitt..well, yeah, the guy can pick a script. I respect him because he actually does try to go after solid scripts instead of sure fire blockbuster hits. He'd rather make great movies than just pull a Tom Cruise and go after the cheesy blockbuster.

76 kb, not too big, but not small. I'll change it.

Bullock is good looking, and she has made some good movies. She's not the greatest actress in the world, but she's far from the worst. No reason to hate on Sandra.
As for Brad Pitt, he has made/been in some great movies. I really don't recall a film of his that I've seen that I didn't enjoy. He was excellent, for example, in Ocean's Eleven and in Snatch. Also, he can play more than one character, which is saying a lot in Hollywood today.

Brad Pitt is one of my favorite actors, along Pacino, Hoffman, Nicholson, Hopkins... (He always has a beautiful actress in his movies, such as Julia Roberts )
Maybe not a fine actor, but he often performs characters that I like, in the kind of movies I like.
Legends of the Fall was great.

Hey Chiwas, 28 Days was on last night on ABC. Thought about you every time that wonderful woman was on the screen.

I watched it the last half an hour.
If somebody thought that she coudn't act, what I saw was different . She can act, and pretty well.
I think many of them, actors (and actresses), are being overplayed, I mean, they are making a lot of movies in a short period of time. Years ago, good actors and actresses appeared in very few movies. Thus most of them were big performings.
Sandra is appearing in many movies, then most of them are regular or bad, with bad arguments, with bad characters.
But 28 Days showed me that she can act very well. (And still be beautiful)
Thanks, YouTwo.

RE: Sandra Bullock
If Chiwas can get away with that......
Then I saw her face
Now I'm a believer
Not a trace
Of doubt in my mind....
Speaking of which, Was anyone else at the AAC for that smashmouth concert two seasons ago? They really impressed me with there live playing.

RE: Sandra Bullock
I saw the pat green show too, or part of it. Waited to hear "george's bar" and then left. I think the third show that year was the gap band, and then last year they had cameo. My cohorts and I usually hang around for the shows no matter what genre it is because the one universal thing about musicians is that underneath it all, we are dorks, absolute and complete dorks.

She seemed like a pretty down to earth person when she came into our store. (shoe shopping in Austin)
Chiwas - she looked single to me. Maybe you've got a shot.
