Maybe they can get that old guy that sits on the sideline across from the Mavs bench with the weird hair and the clappers to reach out and clothesline Parker as he's running by.

I really think the mavs are going to run away with this game. Their coming off an embarrassing loss and we're home. We've bounced back real well in the regular season coming off embarrassing losses

I want to see that fire from Dirk. The one that gives you goosebumps and want to go start talking to the guy next to you. I hope he goes insane today.

They really run the top referees ragged in these playoffs, huh? Crawford was reffing the Houston-Portland game two nights ago in Portland.

Mavs play good on NBA TV, not so much on TNT. So I am glad it's on NBA TV. We can always get a stream here so no worries

I hope the NBATV broadcast features Mark and Bob.
I CANNOT STAND SEAN ELLIOTT AND THAT OTHER HOMER.

Sean Elliott is the third biggest homer broadcaster in the NBA, behind the two Celtics guys on CSN.

I just read some statistics regarding Game 3s and damn this is a HUGE game for both teams. I have a feeling this game will be a dogfight to the end

I think we'll win by a large margin. Is anyone really concerned about anything other than Parker going off again?

A way he can get the ball in position to take Dirklike shots without forcing them. I hope Carlisle is up to the challenge.

No joke. TNT would rather show Boston and Lakeshow. But I am glad as Mavs tend to play terribly on TNT

What is the % of game 3 winners going on to win the series? I think it's pretty good.

I read on db.com that everytime Mavs have been in this situation (i.e. series tied 1-1) and they won Game 3, they have gone on to win the series. Everytime Spurs have been in this situation and won Game 3, they have gone on to win the series 22 out of 23 times

3/6 and 4/5 matchups tend to get at least one game on NBATV unfortunately.

I can't find the 1-1 historical records for Game 3 specifically, but this is on the front page of whowins.com:
One-game-all (note 1):
Five of the eight 2009 NBA Preliminary-round series were tied 1-game-all after Wednesday. In these five, the Atlanta Hawks were the only home team to win Game 1 and lose Game 2; by contrast, the Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic, San Antonio Spurs, and Portland Trailblazers each lost Game 1 but won Game 2 at home. So Boston, Orlando, San Antonio, and Portland have a "momentum" that Atlanta lacks, no? Well, historically, no - at least not in a series context. In the history of best-of-7 NBA playoff series, teams such as Atlanta that win Game 1 and lose Game 2 at home have a 48-23 (.676) series record, while teams such as the other four (which lose Game 1 but win Game 2 at home) have only a 34-32 (.515) series record.
One-game-all (note 2):
On Monday, the Boston Celtics and San Antonio Spurs won Game 2 of their respective series at home, thereby tying their respective series 1-game-all. For the Chicago Bulls and Dallas Mavericks, then, the last NBA team to win Game 1 and lose Game 2 on the road but win their best-of-7 NBA playoff series was the San Antonio Spurs (in 2007, over the Phoenix Suns). The 2007 Spurs thus set a favorable precedent for the Dallas Mavericks against the 2009 Spurs (as well as for the Bulls against the Celtics). UPDATE: On Tuesday, the Houston Rockets joined Chicago and Dallas in this situation with the Game 2 win at home by the Portland Trailblazers.
