Hm, guys. Now, with the game at Wembley, do the Cowboys ( or the Jax ) have one roadgame more than usual ?

Looks like London counted as a 'home' game for Jacksonville. Dallas still has 8 in Dallas.

How 'bout them Cowboys?
Needed that game - it's starting to look like the Wildcard scenarios aren't going to play out well for the Cowboys so it's pretty much mandatory that they win the division if they want to make it into the playoffs. Losing another division game could have been a dagger.

2 games left
Well they've exceeded my expectations
Props to JG for giving them an identity as a running team with a smash mouth O-Line.
I hope to see more play action esp. on first down. Esp. when teams stack 9 in the box.
Defense has far exceeded my hopes though there's still tons of room for improvement. Not sure... maybe we just need another year for the young guys to improve and for guys to get healthy. More likely we are 1 or 2 playmakers away from being really outstanding in addition to the above.
can't believe we're still in the hunt for HFA and not just a playoff spot. Who would have thought that at the beginning of the season?

Cowboys get an early Christmas present in a rare Saturday game...
Redskins - 27
Eagles - 24

Indianapolis CLOLts... Why would they fake a punt this early in the game and that deep into Cowboys territory?

42-7. Wow. That's just utter domination. Easily the most impressive win of the season. With the division on the line, and against a damn good team too. This is what you call a statement game.
I'm fully on the bandwagon now. The Cowboys are legit contenders.

I hope we get to play Arizona or Detroit. Don't want to play at Lambeau. We won't get to play Carolina unfortunately (unless we both make it to the conference championship).
I think if Arizona and Seattle lose next week, we get a bye. No way Seattle is losing to St Louis in Seattle. Especially after tonight. Seattle is back in the saddle.
That being said, Cowboys can hang with any of these teams. Would rather have the game in Jerry World than Lambeau or Seattle.

playoffs!
Well at best it's a hard road but glad to be back in the playoffs. We've been playing well and have a good shot at making some noise. Wish things worked out better with seeding and home field, etc. but will take it. realistically I think we beat detroit and then lose a close one in Green Bay. That's the one match up I feared the most is Packers in Green Bay. I'd rather have played Seattle. If we can make it past GB I think we go to the Super Bowl and hopefully don't have to face the Patriots. I think we'd do fine against any other AFC team.

Looked intentional to me but I couldn't say for sure. I will say he hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt and is well-deserving of a playoff game suspension given his history of conduct.

Suh is one of the dirtiest players in the history of the NFL, and he totally deserves to be suspended.
That being said, he's a free agent this year, and the Cowboys would be nuts not to make him an offer.

Not sure how accurate this link is, but apparently he's dirty all the time - even in practice, towards his OWN TEAMMATES. We don't need this crap - I don't think we go after him.

Suh's not suspended anymore, which is horsesh!t if you ask me. But beating the Lions with him playing would be sweeter.

Picking him up indeed would be classic Jerry... I'm hoping though that saner minds will prevail. Not picking Johnny Football and instead picking up a rookie guard who was just named all pro gives me some hope that someone else has a stronger voice then Jerrah...
Assuming Garrett is still around and has a voice in decision making, I doubt that Suh fits his bill for the "right kind of guy" approach that he's been preaching since he took over.

Rolando Mcclain probably doesn't fit "the right kind of guy" approach either. And Dez is certainly no angel. The guy is a monster in the one area of the game where we need the most help. If he can be had at a reasonable price, I'm all for thugging it up.

Wow, great game... I don't like that our win will be questioned for the next week because of a reversed call, but that almost seems like a make-up after all the ticky-tack and blown calls they made against the Cowboys.
Props to Marinelli's defense for allowing only 3 points in the second half to allow Romo and the offense to make that spectacular comeback.
Oh, and I love how Lawrence redeemed himself in the end after fumbling his fumble recovery.

Terrible calls both ways all day. Bad ref crew. Dallas was down after the call. They came back and took the lead. Detroit was given back the ball, they wet the bed. Detroit put up only 3 points in the 2nd half. While my gut tells me, "Dallas didn't deserve to win this game". Detroit's 2nd half play didn't really earn them a win either. The old Cowboys would have found a way to lose this game. They didn't. Green Bay is going to be tough, and AR will win the MVP this year, but they are a very beatable team in Lambeau. You just need a running game. Good thing we've got one.

Here's a different shot of that play where Hitchens face mask is being grabbed so he can't turn his head around.

There were bad calls all game. My favorite one against us is when a defender tossed Terrance Williams into another defender and then Williams got called for offensive pass interference. It killed that drive.

Kinda silly to bring up that article with such a bang bang play. Honestly, if no flag was thrown, not nearly as much of it is being made. It's definitely a call that you're unhappy about if you're either side and it goes against you.

I didnt think it was close to pass interferance tbh. The ball hit him in the arse. He didnt face guard him, he was just running behind him. I thought the ref commentator on the tube was full of hooey.

I agree..
""The back judge threw his flag for defensive pass interference," Morelli said in a pool report. "We got other information from another official from a different angle that thought the contact was minimal and didn't warrant pass interference. He thought it was face guarding."
Face guarding is a penalty in college football, but not at the pro level. Back judge Lee Dyer threw the flag on Hitchens from the far side of the field. Head linesman Jerry Bergman offered the different -- and ultimately deciding -- view."
I actually thought intentional faceguarding was a penalty, but i guess not.

Most replays show that the TE had his hands on the LB's facemask. Definitely could have been offensive pass interference. Definitely could have been offensive hands to the face. Definitely could have been defensive pass interference. If it's that iffy..that close of a call, probably best that nothing at all was called.

There were so many terrible calls both ways.
After that call Detroit had a chance on defense to stop us from going 80 yards to take the lead. The 2nd best defense in he league failed to do so.
Then after that, with Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate, Detroit failed to drive the ball to come back and win the game.
They failed both offensively and defensively after that play. It all ended on a turnover by their QB. The Cowboys know this ending all too well. Luckily they are a better team and were on the opposite side of it this time.
A pick up of a flag is not responsible for the two possessions that followed.
Detroit only scored 3 points in the 2nd half. That's on them.

I didnt see any pass interference there. I am pretty shocked that it was picked up as everyones ego gets riled up. The nfl has explained it but detroit doesnt want to believe it.
