Kidd does it again, you can´t throw a better pass. And that over Yao, wow!
Nice also for Marion, really like him off the bench, 12/9 tonight.
Curious: Butler played great tonight, but did not play in "crunchtime".

Only Kidd can make a perfect inbound like that....Marion with the bucket with .04 seconds... Nice, now take that momentum into the season and let's go hard this year like the Rangers

That was weird. The boxscore said we lost, then that we won. What happened?

There was an out of bounds review by the officials at 0.4, but the initial call was that the game was over.

Down 1, 3.7 sec. remaining. Kidd to Terry, he tried to pass it to Dirk, Lee stole it but stepped out of bounds somehow. 0.4 sec. left, Kidd and Terry were already underway to the locker room, Kidd throw the bass over Yao exactly to the basket, Marion got the screen from Dirk and layed it in.

Thanks guys! Good to end the pre-season on a positive note. 4-4 sound better than 3-5.

Random note: Maggette for the Bucks has 17 points on 0-2 shooting. 17-20 from the line. That's just ridiculous.

Caron Butler scored 25 points on 11-15 shooting and went 3-3 from downtown. He didn't get to the charity stripe at all, but he scored plenty in the paint. He was ridiculously efficient tonight (can we get more of THAT guy, please!)
Marion had a nice evening off the bench with a 12/9 game where 5 of his 9 rebounds came on the offensive end. Granted it's the preseason and Roddy's still out, but Matrix had 30 mins to Butler's 33 - that seems like a pretty even distribution of playtime, with Butler being more of a starter and Marion being more of a finisher...

Nice game by Butler, and how about Mahinmi with the back-up center minutes? He wasn't GREAT, but his per minute rebounding has been great during the preseason. Just nice to see Carlisle trust him in a game coach wanted to win.

Yeah Haywood played great. Really created a strong defensive presence in the paint. We're pretty fortunate to have this Haywood / Chandler combo.

I went up to Brendan Haywood and asked him about playing against Yao Ming, "I just look at as a challenge. When you're playing someone that tall, that skilled and that gifted, you just have to go out there and try to be aggressive." The Mavs big man only scored two points but he was a force with nine rebounds and five blocks. "Some nights the points are going to be there, some nights it's going to be blocks and rebounds," Haywood said, "But my thing is, as long as you make an impact on the game in some way it's a positive."
