Understand the court is smaller but Mekel has had some bad passes.

You might be alone there... It's a girl, so we're going to have to wait until the next one for our future PF.

He had, but he also had 2 great passes at least that should have ended up as easy assists, but the player missed easy shots, layups. I like him overall, even with the TO's, he's a creative passer.

Crowder and James should be a lot better than they have been so far.

Arghhh... Oh well, maybe Dirk can make the girl a word class tennis player, like daddy would have been if he chooses that sport.

I would. You will get to see a lot more than just the Mavs in the stands. You also sort of feel like a scout.

The width of this court isn't up to NBA standards.

Yeah, the quality is terrible, spacing is terrible, it feels like there are at leat 5-6 players around the ball constantly, like in a kids game.

Mekel had at least 5 passes by now that should have ended up with an easy basket but didn't for some reason, and 2 of that probably ended up being a TO.

Just had a slick pass to James. James couldn't handle it. I like sarge but we definitely need Daly in addition to wright.

He created another wide open opportunity since, of course Jay bricked it. Mekel could easily have 8-9 assists by now instead of the 4 he does.

Mekel still looking good :0! With a little help he would have better numbers, but it's not hard to see he has game.

The kid is really controlling the court on the offensive side. I like his presence out there. Nice find by Donnie and co.

First summer league game really stinks IMO. They can't run plays, James isn't ready to play. You can usually evaluate the guards unless they move it quickly, then they look tentative

Yeah, I'm not too concerned about James yet.

I liked the way he went up to grab a board earlier with one hand. Must have large hands.. He seems to have some want to on the defensive end too.. We'll see. It seems like if someone could just get into his head and wire him the right way, he could end up having a nice career in the NBA.

Justin is a very pesky defender but he's getting away with fouls they'd call in the nba
