We don?t have a chance if we can?t keep them to under 53% from both the field and three

Outrebounded by 17
Teams shooting 50% from the field and three
That is why we aren?t a contender

Kidd has one plan and no plan B or C or Dso when we punch first we?re good but if they punch back, we double over and lose the rest of the game and slowly collapse even though the entire game was decided at 5:00 in the first when the Wolves adjusted

Four TOs and a missed three ain?t gonna get it done
Over three minutes without putting a single point on the board to end the game

Not stressing on this game. Biggest team in the league, best team in the league record wise, 4th game in 7 nights, no kyrie. Put up a fight as best they could, wheels fell off in the 4th.

This is embarrassing.
Might as well be a blowout when a top three offense can?t score for 4 minutes

It?s sad but as a fan you can call losses in the very first quarter. I turned to my partner in the first quarter and said, ?let?s watch Oppenheimer. It?ll be less depressing?
They said ?it?s tied. Why is it depressing??
But it is. Kidd can?t adjust so when teams make adjustments, we just lose slowly for the next 30-40 minutes. It?s so predictable that fans have lost hope. It?s what we do.
We get outrebounded and can?t defend so we score occasionally while the lead shrinks to a tie and then the deficit grows. At the end of the game luka blames himself. Kidd planes the players for not playing hard. Then it?s the next game.

THJ back to his old self. How Kidd allows a guy to keep playing who is a -30 is mindblowing.

I?m not sure a few minutes of Hardy over THJ was going to change allowing 50% shooting and 45% from three while being outrebounded by 16

Well the point is that THJ shoots us out of games as much as he shoots us in them. We're never going to be a serious contender if we have to rely on him making shots night in and night out.
Since we don't defend or rebound well, then we have to have guys making shots.

This team goes as Hardaway goes.
The fact he has had such a great year so far should be scaring the hell out of us because at age 30 he isnt changing who he has always been.

This was not the same effort defensively that we have been giving.
What a concept, having 2 bigs anchoring the defense, altering drives in the paint and cleaning up on the boards.

Im not annoyed that we lost. Im annoyed the way we lost, even without Kyrie. The one thing we can control is effort, especially defensively, we did not match our recent intensity. Imo, there was a point where Minne went up by 7 or 8pts and Luka did not get a call on a fairly weak driving layup, then Edwards got a call on the other end and the deflation seemed palpable. It felt locked in that since our perimeter shots werent falling and their defense was spaced out so well that we just let the fire die. No "leader" stepped up and huddled the team together to try and motivate or reignite some fire.

100% it's how we lost more than that we lost. Wolves are a better team. our offense is hot, but it's new so of course we struggle against the best defense.
1) What you described. Refs were highly inconsistent, but our leader is Luka. He got upset and pouted and so the whole team got upset and pouted for the calls.
2) Finch made an adjustment in the first when we were up 11. After that, they outscored us by 29. Kidd is just unable or unwilling to make adjustments and that is a problem. Talk crap about Rick, but at least he could call a timeout and get our momentum back with a smart play.
3) Kidd continues to not take credit and instead throw players under the bus in his pressers. That annoys the hell out of me. Take some credit and the answer to "how did we lose" can't always be, "the guys didn't play hard enough" when coaching was terrible.

Rumor is that the refs were asked by the Wolves to review the out-of-bounds play. Being that it didn't take their official review, they were playing favorites here.
Obviously those three points that they erased, didn't cost us the game, but still shows that there is some @$% going on with reffing.

Gonna be interesting to see what trades can be made. It's gonna be a sellers market as too many teams are vying for a playoff spot/contention right now. Things can change, the but West is very competitive. Will make getting a deal done more difficult.
Jake Fischer said the asking price for OG is three firsts, Keegan Murray and another player if a trade with Sacramento were to happen. Silly Ujiri.
Fake insider says we are interested in Markannen. Again, the asking price will be absurd.
I think it'll be more wise to get some pieces that fit and help with our defense and rebounding. Some non-sexy moves that won't cost an arm and leg.

Allowing 80% and 50% from three
This is not a contender and Kidd should be fired

Who the hell is the new strength and conditioning coach? Sorry, but these injuries are ridiculous.

One observation...we could use a legit backup center.
Hardaway's current role on this team is concerning enough, now we'll have to rely on Powell to have a prominent one.
