Amazing. Esch is looking really good. It's funny that Nelson pulled Finley for missed shots, I assume. Yet NVE is still in there. Although he just hit one...finally.

The Clipps have really come to play tonight. They remind me of the Mavs a couple of years ago - winning games late in the year for no reason other than to win them.

That's an example of why Bradley gets yanked.
Why didn't he dunk either of those attempts? He was right next to the rim and he opts to throw it too hard off the backboard instead. We're lucky Kandiman lost the ball out of bounds. Exactly...where is Wang?

We held the Clips to 16 points in the 2nd quarter. Now **that's** good D. (And I believe all because he put Esch, Buck and Griff in the same time for a good stretch.)

Man, what a crazy layup by nash to give us the one point lead at the half.
Bradley has played well defensively, but those 2 missed layups were ridiculous. And how did the refs miss Kandiman throwing the ball at the basket like that?

dirk, esch, bradley, and raef have all looked good on the inside.
the inside defense has played alot better as of late..but i would like to see the mavs consistently go with buck and/or griff to improve the defense at the two or three spot (whichever finley's not playing at the time) |

I will say this about Esch:
he is not gifted physically but damn he'll throw his weight around.... he will battle anyone in the league for the ball, rebound, position, etc. |

I've always liked the banger aspect of Esch - honestly he is a better backup than Bradley. Bradley is a less talented LaFrentz.

Bradley did come in and put some good stops on Kandiman. Esch and Raef were getting eaten up by him. Bradley does change the game a bit. A great back up center if you ask me. Just if we can get a natural consistant starting center.
