Mavs are just inexperienced. And teams can smell it day in and day out.

I said it earlier today. We don't have a single good defensive player on the entire team. So it's no wonder we can't hold onto a lead.

Inexperienced, yes. But all the experience in the world can't make up for bad personnel. We have no defense, no rebounding, and outside of Luka, no playmaking. The team is pretty bad outside of our two Euros.

No disrespect but that term inexperienced gets thrown around way too often on here.
Today's nba is filled with inexperienced players and teams.
This team struggles vs young teams like the Hawks, Grizzlies, Kings or Suns.
It's not like the league is booming with veteran teams and yet we use the inexperienced label to justify our mavs continually blowing leads or games.
We also have one of the oldest tenured coaches on our sidelines which some of these other young teams don't have.

Rick is a bad Chef who has all the right ingridients for a great dish but fails at using the right spice at the right moment. Unnecessary physical and physiological pressure for the Players. Fire that Guy and get Kokoškov.

I hope this is sarcasm? Right ingredients for a great dish? The team is garbage outside of Luka and KP.

Yes. Yes they are
You've got a bunch of nice bench pieces but no impact starters outside Luka and KP

As maddening as this team has been for these two games, win or lose tonight, let's all recognize KP. He's been awesome. This shit isn't his fault.

Hardaway has had a nice run here but you will get absolutely nowhere in the playoffs if he is a starter for you or even a rotation piece. He is the streakiest shooter in the league. And for guy who is supposedly athletic he is an a turnstile with very little effort on D.

I've said many times this season that I'm not sweating wins and losses, and that I only care about seeing Luka and KP develop together. But man... this team is REALLY putting that sentiment to the test. Losses like these are just nauseating.

Same with Seth. Decent role players off the bench, but no way can you rely on guys like that to be starters, or even as your best bench players. And yet, those two are arguably our 3rd and 4th best players.
The Mavs just aren't very good.

I see good defensive teams fighting through screens....when is the last time our perimeter fought through a screen? Its not an automatic switch because the big is hedging.....Luka and KP...seth, kleber and boban as bench players. The rest I can do without. Honestly.

Why the fuck did Boban not get back in?
Bone headed indivuals all contributing to close losses. It's decision making. From coach on down to Luka and KP.
Mental midgets and decision making

Agreed. And this is why so many here were so upset with the horrid free agency we had. Our "prize" was Delon Wright and our "icing" was Seth. Seth is fine in his role but really? We had max cap space and we got a role player and a guy who looks like he belongs 12th on the bench... only if the 12th person was injured though.

At least seth is historically one of the best 3 pt shooters ever. And could play on any good team....can't compare that to Hardaway who I loathe. Lol
