Booth has played well since entering.
Terry needs to continue to push the ball.

Glad that Dirk didn't pick up his 3rd. Personally I wish he would sit until the start of the2nd, but it worked out.

RE: Chicago Bulls at Dallas Mavericks gameday thread
Does Dampier have a hook in his repetoire? I haven't seen one. With his girth he should get some form on baby hook or jump hook. It would be extremely tough to block.
That shot he made earlier, I'm nbot sure how it went in. It looked like he wasn't even facing the basket when he shot it.

i think i've seen him shoot something that vaguely resembles a hook shot a couple of times, but it looked extremely awkward.

I was hoping that he was breaking out of his shooting slump...but, perhaps I should tap the breaks.

Dallas is definitely in a rut offensively. Dirk needs to shoot some. Most of the shots they've been getting though are good shots.

fouling, missing open shots, all around sloppy play: this is Eastern Conference basketball.

Weird game. The Mavs look like they are making a run, but they aren't taking a lead.
Dirk is shooting well.

Why is Dampier still sitting. 5 & 5 in one quarter not good enough for Nelson?
nm, there he finally is..

RE: Chicago Bulls at Dallas Mavericks gameday thread
every time Dampier is fouled, I think of the Waterboy, when the other team just punts every time they have the ball so he can't make an impact on the game...

wonderful pass by Fin.....started out with a nice kick by Dirk out to the perimeter to Fin...Fin passed up the open shot for a slam for a teammate..brilliant pass Fin.

All that hustle by JHo, and he ends up with a foolish turnover.... I'm not 100% sure that they ruled that he had possession, but if he didn't, he should have just picked the ball up and slowed the game down for a sec.

Now here's an actual game where someone could legitimately gripe about the Mavs rebounding...not when they're actually up by 5-8 boards...

3rd straight game where Finley has logged at least 4 assists.

RE:Chicago Bulls at Dallas Mavericks gameday thread
People like to gripe about Dirk's passing at times....but, this game has been an excellent indication of how you can pass the ball extremely well and not necessarily have it translate into assists....He's had a couple of nice looks to Damp that didn't end up in an assist...once he got fouled, once he let it slide through his hands....a couple of nice passes while being doubled that ended up being buckets..and a couple of kickouts when doubled that ended up being missed open looks.

RE:Chicago Bulls at Dallas Mavericks gameday thread
Memphis is hammering the Wolves.... With KG and Wally about the only two guys that are consistently playing well, why is Szczerbiak coming off of the bench? Sorry for the spelling on Szczerbiak..not sure if it's correct.

The only difference between him & KG is...
KG guys knock down their shots.

RE: Chicago Bulls at Dallas Mavericks gameday thread
Wally's off the bench because at the start of the year the Wolves struggled so Wally chose to come off of the bench. And Flip is/was trying to get Hassell more playing time.
