Is there a reason why ESPN's +/- are so off between players (especially amongst Charlotte) even though both teams have only played their starters?

Well, to put Dirk's 6 shots in perspective though:
3 pointer while shot clock winding down... first shot of game layup blocked tough shot on baseline tough shot at free throw line after making a move ball"blocked"/"stripped" while going up So essentially 2 or 3 of those shots have been "bad" shots.... and 2 of them were blocked..... still needs to shoot better shots though. |

And that is what Gooden is supposed to do. If he would limit himself to those type of plays and "feeds from someone" he would be much better off. He needs to quit trying to go one on one committing a ton of turnovers.....
