Damn, I should have gotten that Eric Davis. Talk about a career that started so well and didn't end as planned. That man has one of the quickest swings ever.

I would guess Babe Ruth as well...he pitched something like 13-14 inning in a world series game one year. Otherwise, I don't know.

That would have been my guess also, but Martin was only thrown out of one game. More recent....think of your favorite players team.....

It was indeed Bobby Cox, who was thrown out of series games in 1992 and 1996.

ok..here's a question..i can't be specific at all with who else was involved because it would make the question to easy.
there was a game once where a pitcher pitched to one batter and walked him...well, he got into an argument with the umpire and was thrown out of the game
AND
here's the real kicker..the relief pitcher followed the starting pitcher came in to retire the next 27 hitters in order to complete the no-hitter
who started the game?

regular season..nothing like this has ever happened or had ever happened.. really kinda freaky...
however, if you kinda think of some of the clues i gave you...well, just what i told you alone gives away a couple things..doesn't really narrow it down much..just kinda narrows out the past 20-30 years..

Babe Ruth...should have known...
Bobby Richardson and Luis Tiant each won their respective Most Valuable Player Award while playing on the losing team!
