Dude, Romo threw that last pass high expecting the defender to be in a position to make a play on the ball. The Cowboys ran that play to take advantage of Owens height. Romo didn't have time to do alot of assessing of the situation. That was just a pass where you put the ball up high knowing that the defender cannot get to it there.
The other "drop" was on the second deep ball. It was high, but it went through his hands. I'm not holding that one against him because the pass should have been lower. But, I do expect most receivers to make that catch.

I think i'll have to disagree, the defender was behind him and an on a line throw to owens outside would have been the best throw it appears to me, it certainly would have been the easire catch. As it was his receiver had to go up and possibly get his head handed to him by being undercut.

Either they had no safety help on him then or biscuit was taking a coffee break.
I thought dallas had been putting newman on the other teams star receiver lately. Galloway has been scorching some people.

I always thought Austin was a great return man from the time he returned that interception in the Pre-season (or was it a punt return?)

Were all of those troy's? I got a feeling some of them were bucks.

I hate people who tackle like that...That makes you go down so akwardly. I almost broke my leg in a game because of being tackled like that.

I think that was coined by Parcells. He said he was one biscuit shy of a linebacker.

This seems to be a common theme with your posts about the Cowboys. In your mind, have the Cowboys ever earned a win?

I hadn't seen Romo play yet, I'd only read about him on this board, but he really is the real deal.

Did everyone catch Troy's comment about asking Drew about Romon.
Drew said that he hoped he didn't get injured because he didn't think he would get his job back.
Parcells...what the hell have you been doing in practice man? Maybe the cowboys wanted to sign romo to a 5 year contract or something before starting him....hmmm...that would be really smart business but really sneaky.
Quote:
Cowboys signed QB Tony Romo to a two-year, $3.9 million contract through 2007. The deal includes a $2 million signing bonus.
It's a new contract, so Romo is now signed through 2007. It could be a steal of a deal for Dallas if Romo takes over as the team's starter during the 2006 or 2007 season, as many believe he will.
