Seriously. It’s not even like she’s screaming when something happens. It’s just random. Mavs employees should have just upgraded her seats, so fans at home don’t have to listen to that all game.

It’s amazing how Gobert can always have a hand on the waist while someone is driving

I think he bumped him when he moved forward. He just got a call when he was trapped in the backcourt

conley 1-7
mitchell 5-19
great team defensive effort - guys scrambling to cover and get back and help - love it.
maxi needs to work on his legs - i'm sure he's tired from banging with Gobert but the man had no lift on his shots and bricked those 2 FT's at the end hard.

The guy that has really benefited from the trade is DFS. He has been lit the last 5 games.

My biggest fear is that he’d get paid and get lazy like Julius Randle (and to some extent THJ)
It appears I’m wrong and DFS is just a dude who plays hard all the time, motivation or not.

Warriors and Jazz lose
Warriors drop to 3
Mavs now 0.5 behind Jazz for 4th
Mavs only 3 games behind the Warriors for 3rd

hmmm... interesting, that thought never even crossed my mind about DFS.
he's hungry and hasn't really accomplished much in his career - he's worked hard on his game and it shows. i'm happy for him and happy for the Mavs

Helluva win, sure, it was segababa for the Jazz, but still, they wanted this badly. We are starting to look like a scary team, let's see if they can keep it up.

Feels like we’re on a collision course with the jazz. One team I do t want to play because of Gobert.

I think there’s at least a decent chance Warriors fall out of the top 4-5. They just fell to third and there isn’t much time but Jazz are 2.5 games behind them and Mavs are only 3 back. At the current trajectory, Mavs end up 4 and play the Warriors with HCA

I don't care who we play in the playoffs. There is no easy way. Win as much as we can and take what's in front of us. I'd just like to have HCA.

Never worried about DFS. The man in his own words said he's more a Ram truck guy than a Ferrari. I love DFS and hope he's a Mav for his career.

No one can score at the rim against Gobert on this team. And Luka has a personal vendetta against Gobert so it doesnt always result in the best offensive trips. It would be nice to avoid them first round. I think Mavs do it, but its gonna take 7 games first round.

Josh Green watch - some nice plays overall, highlighted by his steal of the ball from Gobert, behind the back dribble, drive to the hoop and kick to Bertans in the corner for a 3. Couple of other nice dishes - one to maxi in the post with a good seal on his man and a dish to DFS for the driving layup.
Bertans - 6'10" showtime lakers Magic wannabe - grabbing boards and leading the break. Found maxi trailing for a 3 this game. I know he's likely not gonna stick with the team, but it's fun to cheer for him.

Luka has a personal vendetta against anyone who talks sht to him or gets away with anything. There's not enough teams in the league to avoid a guy who Luka has in his cross hairs. He isn't backing down from anyone. Gobert is just the latest victim. He happens to be a really good player but since their beef started we are 1-1 and 1-0 with our new squad. These teams are concerned to play us too and would rather not face Luka first round so it goes both ways.
I'm not saying we are contenders yet, but teams don't want this kid to bust their ass out of the first round... and all we need is for role players to step up and help.

Haha nice recap 👍
Josh’s energy is infectious. He’s weirdly special. Someone compared him to Iggy and that may be the best comp. GSW era Iggy, not Philly where he was a go to scorer. Don’t think Josh will ever be quite on that level but he’s just a guy that does everything well and is a winning player. He’s switchable 1-4 and even held his own a couple times against Gobert in the post. I’d like to see our guys find him even more on the break when he leaks out— he’s legit the fastest guy in the court most nights. Jalen is getting better about it but I’ve noticed more than a few egregious examples of him not finding Josh up ahead. Probably a trust thing as it’s gotten better of late.

My biggest concern is at center.
I think in a 7 game series we could get worn down if Jokic, Ayton or Gobert cross our path.
But I feel really good about our ability to matchup on perimeter now as opposed to years past because we have multiple guys DFS, Bullock, Green and Brown that finally gives us length and Luka has improved aswell on that end of the floor.
Matchups will be huge but I think the Mavs might finally crack the 2nd round.
I'd be really disappointed if they were a 1st round out again since they have a good amount of playoff experience under their belt now.
