I don't dislike the running back by committee by any means. But, what does Julius Jones give you that any other 3rd stringer around the league can't?

Yea witten gave the barbarian a magic carpet that time.
Hopefully TO's twist is minor, that didn't look good at the time.

I'm not fond of the idea of giving all the load to Barber. My guess is that he wouldn't look near as good as he does, if we did that.
And I think folks are unecessarily hard on Jones. He has sprung several 20-or-so-yard runs this year, particularly early in games. It's not like the guy is Eddie George, you know?

We've just run over Carolina in our matchups over the last few years.

I love how high Ware gets up when he's trying to tip those passes, he really has paws for hands.

I understand your first point, which is why I've supported starting Julius for so long, but Julius is just so bad out there I don't feel I can justify giving him the few carries he is getting at this point. I do fear that Marion will drop off a little at 20 carries per game, which is why I hope we can get a decent running back that can complement Barber better in the offseason.
Jones may not be Eddie George, but at 3.8 ypc he's not doing a whole lot better either.

Our pro bowlers seem to be dropping like flies. Luckily none of these injuries look too major, and we do have a bye week.

Well Jason Garrett calls so few running plays that Marion shouldn't ever get tired should he?

We're really thin at CB right now. I feel like Jacques Reeves gets abused every time he is out there.

I am not liking this vibe one bit... I don't care about the game, I just want us to be healthy heading into the playoffs.

Ugh, TO heading for X-Rays. At least he is walking under his own power.

Julius would really be better if he'd finish his runs off better. The last time they tried to pick up a short-yardage with Julius he just jumped into the line instead of keeping his legs driving.
He runs pretty good until hit it seems. I guess all rbs do for that matter.

Crayton might end up with 13+ catches and 150+ yards this game if TO is out.

Do x-rays say much about the knee? I'm thinking ankle or something in the foot, but that's just a guess.

He's got, what, 27 fewer carries over the course of the season so far, than Barber? You can't just get rid of him entirely. Now, if you want to give five of his carries to Barber, that's one thing. But I think the RB-by-committee should stay, even if it's someone besides Jones next year. I think the committee approach has helped make Barber the effective player he usually is.

Julies ran right into that tackle as well. Just doesn't seem to do more than run straight ahead.

I've heard of them x-raying knees. Can they see ligaments?

Ratliff going to the locker room, too, according to DMN blog. Crap! And they say left ankle on TO. I think that may actually be good knews. I'm not sure he'd be walking on a broken ankle.
