Procter is horrible. How hurt is Holland? Can we expect him back at any point this season?

This is great. Our o-line is going to get Tony killed tonight.
This is last year's playoff game all over again.

Seriously, he's already hurting...looks like his back or something.
There are too many free rushers getting a chance to knock out Romo. Each player at least 1-3 guys are getting free release and taking shots at Romo.

If he is faced with that much pressure all night, it ain't going to matter. You can't score if you can't block.
Our o-line is so incredibly flaky.

Whatever plays they call, every WR better have a hot route ready because I don't think the Giants are going to let it up, they smell blood now.

It would be nice to have a player like Felix, who is always a threat to take it to the house, against a rush like that.

After a quarter, it looks like if we want any chance to stay close...it's on our secondary. The front 7-8 are going to hold the run and get pressure, so it's up to them to keep on the WRs and not let anything break loose.
Oh yeah...the O-line needs to grow a set.

it's gonna take a running game to slow that rush down. too many 3rd and umpteens are gonna be bad.

If they continue to rush that way you have to throw a few screens or throw the l;ateral pass to the wideout and get them to back up some.

There should be no "looks like" in Romo's vocab. They have to have him play. If they don't win tonight, it is OVER... gut it out and lead your team.

Well, really it's on the O-line now...it IS the season, they can't let Romo get hit like that, it's not like he has all day to throw. He can't take many more hits and if he goes out, the season is O-V-E-R.

Run the football or throw some screen passes but quit getting yourself in these long situations. Come on Garrett. Get them off his back.
Holy Sh*t. He did what I said.

Keep doing it until they relent a little. Run the ball some.
And he did the lateral pass I mentioned too.
Maybe I am Garrett?

I should be in bed, but the first play I tune in to watch is a touchdown.
I gotta go till halftime.

And he threw a screen pass and a lateral pass to the wide out... next play the pressure is slowed some and Romo has time to make a great throw.
Good job.

Crap, I was wondering if he crossed the line of scrimmage when he threw that. This may well come back.

Man, that looked brutal before that pump fake. He looked like he wasn't ready to hit 2nd gear when running.
But that was great execution to slow down the rush slightly, they still got close to him but they dodged them barely. I doubt the Giants will let up though. They'll adjust the blitz packages.

If it does come back... just move the chains. The homerun there was nice. But they are in Giants territory. Get some points.

Defense needs to stand and give it right back to the Boys with the momentum.

If Romo's back really is injured, that's bad news. Those types of injuries don't just heal up over night.
And I know they said it was just a contusion, but that didn't look like a play where a contusion would be suffered. That looked like something else...

Btw... SA is up by 2 on the Thunder with 30 secs left. I guess they just don't know how to close out the good teams. Can't blow them out.

For defense, it's still on our secondary. Ware and co are going to bring the heat so those guys need to stick on their coverage and don't let those guys break out. It's not Plaxico so the major home run threat isn't there, Hixon is the next option, but he isn't AS dangerous.

Yeah they were up by 20 at the end of the first quarter. When they hit 6 three pointers that quarter. Oklahoma City hung in there and battled all the way back. The Spurs couldn't finish them off.
Had it been the Mavs there would be every fan complaining of how they couldn't finish them off... not legit.. or some such.
I guess the Spurs this year aren't legit.

When you score a touchdown you have to get a stop and not let them regain some of it back. Difference between a Pitt and Cowboys team.

And they shoot themselves in the foot. The Boys beat themselves more than any "good" team in the NFL.
