The Mavs attacked the hoop that quarter. It wasn't jumpshot after jumpshot. They were rewarded some and weren't rewarded for others.

If the Mavs get Kaman for Stack/Bass then their team is going to be dynamic. No longer will it be 3 on 5... but 4 on 5 with the one who can't score is the playmaker setting people up.

Dirk's getting alot of looks in the lane or just outside the lane with his post ups... just not falling. This is the type of game where the Mavs need Howard..
But, it's the Grizz and the Mavs should survive regardless..but, it'd be nice for the shots to start to fall for the big oversized German. |
