JJB hit's it on the head. The mavs pushed the ball at every single opportunity. If they do that they have a great chance to beat the spurs, if they do not, they will be toasty. You just cannot beat the spurs if you do not force them to being a little uncofortable.

Agreed, underdog. CadBane is quite annoying starting these little squabbles. However, chumdawg did bite back and both showed immaturity. Grow up and stick to topic.
With that said, go mavs. I didn't watch because of my superstition mojo, so I won't be watching Thursday.

Idk that I have seen what happened last night since I have been watching the Mavs. There was a great amount of attitude and nastiness to go along with effort and aggressiveness. I have seen great games and solid play even in the playoffs but the attitude was what made me really see a side of this team that I haven't seen around here before. I was proud to watch that game. I can say that if we lose and go down playing that way it will be much easier to sleep going into hibernation aka off season.
I really like what Najera has done in this series, he sent a message and I think it has been recieved by the Spurs. He has set the tone of no one getting free layups around him. Hopefully it rubs off on the rest of the team, they just have to be careful in S.A. how they go about that and where they foul them.
With that said, looking back at this team and the history here, I don't see where we win out and move on only because that effort, attitude, aggression they brought last night usually lasts a game or two and then we hit a dry spell or get content and start to think we are good enough to win without digging way down deep like that every minute of the game. I hope like hell that I am wrong and maybe this team is different but I would expect the Spurs to get every call and we probably won't be able to overcome it mentally.

To keep the Najera quotes going.. his opinion on Tony Longoria.

"They do flop a lot," Najera said. "He was on the floor like he got shot or something. It makes it look worse than it really is."

pushing it and forcing the tempo will be the "keys to success" to our entire playoff run.
