Over 40 games in, Mark still insists on pronouncing Kleber's name 'Klieba'. It's the reason I cancelled league pass.

That's how his name is pronounced... The Charlotte in-house guy said it the same way when he entered the game. It's how Kleber says it -- no different than how the "w" in Nowitzki is supposed to be pronounced as a "v" sound. Blame Germany, not Followill.

That's because the Charlotte in-house guy asked Mavs PR how it's pronounced. And Mavs PR has it wrong. If Hitler played for the Mavs, they would pronounce it Highttluh.

Maxi Kleber pronounces it that way. It's his name. Chill.

No he doesn't. There is no such thing as 'CLEE-buh'.
Thing is, if you want to Americanize Nowitzki go ahead, pronounce it No-WITZ-ki instead of No-VITZ-ki,
just like with Kleber, call him CLEBB-er if you want, just don't invent a new wronger pronounciation.

Dude, that's how Kleeber told Followill how to pronounce it. He talked about it all during Kleeber's first start.
And pronouncing it like "Kleebuh" isn't an American pronunciation at all. Where are you from?

I'm afraid quoting Melon would jinx what's happening right now. But I'm quoting him in spirit for now.

That is fascinating. Audio is a strange thing.
This is now the only thing I care about in life. Would you do me the favor of skipping to 0:31, 0:40, 0:42, 1:13 and so on and tell me what you hear.

I don't hear an "R" sound in any of those pronunciations... Are you just trolling or are you legitimately incapable of hearing how they're saying his name?
Where are you even from?

It has nothing to do with the second syllable. Yes, Germans pronounce Hitler more like 'HIT-luh' because of language laziness. In school we are taught to pronounce the 'er' more. What I am talking about is the first syllable. It's so incredibly simple yet y'all make a meal out of it.

Are you fucking serious? Um, maybe because Walker doesn't pronounce his name that way? If you don't like how Followill pronounces Kleber's name, then take it up with Kleber.

Can we end this now? Or is there some sort of media conspiracy going on with Kleber himself trolling everyone? Good grief.

Jesus, Kemba Walker is unstoppable -- nothing Klee-buh could do to stop him.

BTW, if you ever learn German and get to the word 'Glue', you will find 'Kleber', pronounced 'CLAY-ber'
which is perfect ! because he's a glue guy !

Don't bother contacting Kleber directly -- if you really want to get to the bottom of this mispronunciation conspiracy, ask this guy...

Kleber probably can't concentrate with everyone saying his name wrong... Obviously Salah doesn't have that problem.

@bobbykaralla: Harrison Barnes had 25 and 11 tonight. He became the first Mav since Dirk (3/7/17) to have 25/10, and first non-Dirk Mav since Chandler Parsons (3/29/15).
@BallinWithBryan: Very good nugget from the postgame broadcast
