They're not playing tonight, but they are on the bench.

They went through a 30 minute walk through today. Nellie put in four sets. They'll both play tomorrow.

Delk and Antoine are probably not playing because of everything happening today.. news conference, medicals etc.

But Antoine is already having an influence... 8 3pt attempts already

If we ever get a semistandard lineup... our defense will improve.

Dirk was apparently really aggressive in all aspects except rebounding.

Nellie definitely needs to use that... let Dirk take the center for a few possessions. Then let him show off his passing when they double. Throw in Walker in the mix and have Dirk come off screens (and Nash)... and I'm not sure how others can keep up.

That makes two of us. I'd bet that Best is second-guessing his decision to come here. Since Nellie loves the 3-ball and Delk shot it at a 40% clip last year, Best may not play as much as he thought. In fact, I know he won't

Nice 1st half for Dirk: 5-8, 1-4, 8-9, 20 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks and a steal.

J-Ho is off tonight, Jamison looks horrible, hope its not b/c he's coming off the bench. Fort is rebounding great, just needs to put in a lay-up and stop fouling. Mike looks off. Nash is playing well, needs to get under more control. Best looks off. Eddie is killing us on defensive, he does not box out and gives up way too many offensive rebounds.

I'm not going to knee jerk on AJ coming off the bench until he repeatedly struggles in that role.

I'm glad Dirk's showing tonight with the new guys in attendance. A picture's worth a thousand words and I'd rather Toine and Delk see that he's the man than Nellie have to sit them down and tell them.

Those TO's by Nash were a bit of a blemish, but man have is assist totals been looking good so far in the preseason, and that's in spite of the fact that we've been shooting like poop.
