I'm not bothered by non-native speakers who make their best attempt at English. What bothers me is repeatedly seeing errors in very basic usage from people who should know better. Such as:
tap the breaks
loose the game
hand over the reigns
steal it's thunder

why does this "one basket, one ball, one scoreboard"
sound suspiciously similar to the "two girls, one cup" game to me?

I just want to spread some rep on the citizens of Poland. I had to travel to Poland to learn that meat of lucky chickens is rose not white.
( And to learn that Poland is the only coutry i know where pimps offer whores at the Döner :-) )
Red thread diarrhea alert.

Yes... "I have been waiting" (present perfect progressive) and "I have waited" (present perfect) are both are appropriate.

Romo is probably done for the season.
(this seems like a useless enough thread to post Cowboys news in...)

i must admit the mavs would be more deserving of the 06' championship, despite that I'm a native floridan. while the mavs were still among the top range the very next season, the Miami Heat struggled to earn the last slot of playoffs only to get trounced in the first round and quit.

Just look at me, I have been around here from 2003 and still have like 300+ posts and my English grammar is at least 2 times better then yours (and English is like my 3rd language). I just don't see the need to ruin every topic with my bad grammar, so take a break and try to just read few weeks.
I respect Poland but your really want to prove these classical Polish jokes are true:
A Polish, English, and French guy are running away from the German soldiers when they come up to a forest and they decide to hide by each climbing a tree.
When the Germans arrive, they go to the first tree where the English guy is, and shout, "We know you're up there; come down." The English guy, thinking fast, says, "Tweet, tweet, tweet..."
The Germans, thinking that it's a bird, move on to the next tree where the French guy is and once again shout, "We know you're up there; come down."
The French guy, thinking fast, says, "Hoot, Hoot, Hoot..." The Germans, thinking that it's an owl, move on to the next tree where the Polish guy is and once again shout, "We know you're up there; come down."
The Polish guy thinks for a while and then says, "Moo, moo, moo..."
---
Poland sent its top team of scientists to attend the international science convention, where all the countries of the world gathered to compare their scientific achievements and plans. The scientists listened to the United States describe how they were another step closer to a cure for cancer, and the Russians were preparing a space ship to go to Saturn, and Germany was inventing a car that runs on water. Soon, it was the Polish scientists' turn to speak. "Well, we are preparing a space ship to fly to the sun." This, of course was met with much ridicule. They were asked how they planned to deal with the sun's extreme heat. "Simple, we're going at night!"
---
A popular bar had a new robotic bartender installed. A guy came in for a drink and the robot asked him, "What's your IQ?" The man replied, "130." So the robot proceeded to make conversation about physics, astronomy, and so on.
The man listened intently and thought, "This is really cool." Another guy came in for a drink and the robot asked him, "What's your IQ?" The man responded, "120." So the robot started talking about the Superbowl, dirt bikes, and so on.
The man thought to himself, "Wow, this is really cool." A third guy came in to the bar. As with the others, the robot asked him, "What's your IQ?" The man replied, "80." The robot then said, "So, how are things in Poland these days?"

You must remember about this this blog need sometimes show.My posts are sometimes funny.Because this blog is boring. We must be happy.
Anyway Estonia is a small country. In Poland we don't like Estonian peoples. But I don't care about this.

I am completely, positively, beyond a shadow of a doubt 100% sure that 41mvp is putting on a show and his efforts here are nothing more than a gimmick. No doubt at all...

While it is important to know how to communicate with the written word, it is also important to put this forum into perspective. This is a sports forum not a collage writing class. What is important here is for people to be able to communicate their feelings and ideas on the Dallas Mavs. I understood you perfectly. Keep posting and you don't have to apologize for incorrect grammer. What is important is what a person says not how they say it. In many forums sometimes people attack a persons grammer to avoid having to respond intellegently to their ideas.
Their is a distinct difference between words and the concepts that they are used to communicate. Words are linear. Concepts are not neccessarily so. The words are just one means of communication of ideas between individuals. The are not neccessarily a measure of intelligence or the ability to think conceptually. In fact often linguistic ability is used by psudo-intellectuals to hide their limited conceptually handicaped mind behind. In fact if they were really intellegent they would use that intellegence to meet the writer half way. They would use their brians to try to understand the writer instead of goal displaced ego motivated criticism. Simply stated they act like A*ss holes.
41MVP- In response to your post- The team needs to be patient. They need to have a better all around team with depth. This is something that they lacked all those years. I think they might be one year off in being ready to challenge for a champianship. Alot depends on Roddys development. You put Dirk and Kidd in the same position of having a closing window this year. Kidd is 5 years older than Dirk. Dirk has much more time left. Kidds window has actually closed already. That was the teams main problem. They geared there plan on Kidds closing window by acquiring vets who they thought could contribute now instead of building a team for the future. By future I mean 2 to 3 year window instead of the one year window they always aimed for.
What is so difficult to understand. Two years ago Dirk was thirty and Kidd was 35. They never have had the same window. A five year difference. I think the Kidd fans lumped in Kidd with Dirk in order to justify the narrow window because they wanted Kidd to play a major part in a champianship. Unfortunatly this came at the expense of the best interests of the team. Two years were wasted. So 41mvp the window will not close this year for Dirk so people don't keep putting Kidd and Dirk in the same catagory as far as peak playing time is concered. Now this is one example of flawed reasoning which should have been addressed more rather than wasting effort on pointing out other peoples bad grammer.

This year will be last for this both guys.I don't like Jason Kidd.I never like him.He is one of the best Point guards in history NBA.When he came to Dallas I was very happy. But now I think Harris for Kidd this was big mistake. We lost young good player for old veteran.I loved Harris he could score points. He was speed.I loved him.Jason Kidd he doesn't play well for Dallas Mavericks. He makes to many Turnovers.I hate him for this!!!Dirk is the best PF in NBA.For me Dirk is the best player in the history of the NBA.I love his plays. He can shoot, he can drive to the basket,he can dunks. For me Dirk is absolutie complete player. In this season we have the best roster in ours history.Haywood/Chandler amazing centers combo,The best PF in NBA,good PG players and very good SF players. So my friend ,,Now or Never"

Just would like to point out that that censoring makes absolutely no sense, because for censoring to work, you actually have to replace a letter. Typically, anyway.
Unless, of course, you were trying to put asss hole and censored the 's'. Or perhaps trying to say a ass holes and forgot the space, but then you're grammars was being a little bit off.

No kidding. Longest offseason and preseason in recent memory....less than 24 hours until Mavs basketball.
Chandler healthy? Pretty confident in this.
Dojo can play? Seems like it. Still shoots bricks though.
Kidd too old? Saw an amazing play with .4 seconds that says otherwise.
Dirk? God
Haywood? I'm cool with a more talented, more mobile, has some offense Damp.
Butler? Has to be an all-star. Just say no to Josh Howard-contested-not-in-the-flow-fadaway jumpers.
Roddy's foot? Still in a boot. Doesn't seem like he'll be ready for tomorrow (obviously). Days? Weeks?
The rest seem fine. Barea has major flaws but is passing well lately. Marion looks good. Mahinmi can rebound and defend. Jet looks decent.
I'm optimistic. Things could go wrong, but too much seems right for that. Just gotta knock on wood for that foot....
