Good call. Forgot about that. Still rough as hell, though. They shouldn't schedule b2b's at all when the second one is an early-ish start, IMO.

I thought there was some kind of rule about about the start times between b2bs, maybe I am mistaken.

It was the 1st full game without Nowitzki. The 76 points in the loss to Toronto on December 28, 2010 still marks Dallas’ lowest scoring output of the season.

I think they got out of there pretty quickly and the flight is probably less than an hour. pretty easy b2b really. In fact all of those eastern b2b's are a heck of a lot easier than the west.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree that playing a game at 7pm central on night one and then at 5pm central on afternoon two, with travel in between, is a "pretty easy b2b."

And yeah BG, there is definitely a rule about no noon starts for the second half of a B2B, but I guess it doesn't apply to early evening Sunday starts.

You're not. I believe it's 24 hours. That's why this game is starting so late. Toronto usually plays it's Sunday home game in the afternoon.

I don't understand the need for the game to be at 6:00. It's not like its a national TV game where they need to have the game at a specific time, and they don't have a quick turnaround where they need to reconfigure the arena for some other event. They could have put the game at 7:00 or 7:30 easily.
