Yes Crowder looks soft on the STAT SHEET. He tries to play bigger than he is, but at the end of the day NUMBERS are important and not his fighting "spirit" or "effort".

Jae Crowder and Brandon Bass are nothing alike - they don't even play the same position... Hell, Crowder hit more 3-pointers last night than Bass has made in his entire career.

Brandon Bass does no look soft either. But if you play against guys who are simply bigger you end up with 4 rebounds in 30min no matter how tough you are. Size wise Bass is a perfect SF and Crowder a perfect SG. But of course both are too slow/big to play those positions...

Look, guy, We had NO true center. Kaman is out, Brand is obviously filling in there. Dirk is out. Didn't play James for whatever reason. We ran out a small lineup almost all game. You're saying he is playing against bigger guys like it was his choice to jump out there specifically to do just that. He goes in when he's called to and plays harder than anyone else on the floor every single time so far, what more do you want from the guy, a Rookie? So, he's not Kobe at this point. Idk what else to say besides, Watch the games.

I'm going to be OJ's harshest critic on here if he doesn't perform ( anyhing less than 20 ppg) is underperforming.

Puzzled at how anyone who claims they'd be Mayo's biggest critic if he scores < 20 ppg could possibly be a Mayo fan.

For the record, ppg continues to be all but an afterthought to my mind when it comes to evaluating Mayo's performance. Far more interested in his shot selection, passing and defense.

Yea crowder is short for small forward and his rebounding doesn't come close to Marion's but Marion is a flat out freak. Dude looks 20 out there, something else.
