Dear Zaza can't really guard big guys. I like him overall, but another center that's strong, athletic and big would be useful for us.

Does Parsons look slow tonight to anyone else?

What is up with this trend of getting it in the paint, having a decent shot opportunity and kicking it back out every.single.time.? Parsons and JJB have done it a few times this game, but I've noticed the trend this year of overpassing at times.
It seems like our "system" is Deron bringing it up, passing it to another point guard, that guard getting into the paint, kicking it back out, then passing it a few times around the 3pt line, eventually taking a contested jumper. Occasionally someone else besides a point guard gets it in the paint, but becomes timid and passes back out again.
When we do take it to the rim, it's Harris erratically running towards the crowd and throwing it up with a prayer, or it's our bigs whom only try to finesse layups in rather than taking it up for an easy dunk.
I like what seems to be increased activity in the paint this year overall, but I wish they would just get more aggressive with taking the shot and scoring.
Movement without the ball seems minimal this year as well. Everyone just looks like they wait around for it to be their turn to touch the ball, rather than finding a way to get open.

Need to attack Avery Bradley. 4 fouls and still in the game.

Boston announcers are unbelievably whiners about every foul

Why would the shot clock reset on that? Mavs never gained possession?

Refs are really helping out the Mavs. However, ive had to mute these Boston announcers.

Third quarter feels like wasted effort. Can't say we didn't have our chances to take the lead though.

If we loose this game it's for giving away too many 2nd chance points.

My heart rate was dangerously high when Felton missed that second free throw. Thank God for Deron.

Definitely didn't expect a win with the way it was going. Very nice win against a scrappy Celtics team.

Honestly did not think this team would be any good to start the season with McGee and Parsons still recovering. Certainly didn't expect 8-4 and a 5-game streak
I know we are going to lose eventually but it feels really good

Is it just me, or does Derek Harper try to jinx games? I feel like every time we have a big lead, Harper talks about how bad the other team is, and then they storm back. Last night with 30 seconds to go, Harper said that this is was a good win. The game was far from over.
Harper annoys me a lot.

He's not very good at his job. Like the absent minded Uncle. My fav moment was when Followill was telling the story about going to see Umass-Harvard and had mentioned the teams names twice and then Harper asked "who'd you go see?". Especially since it was a convo they seemed to have rehearsed ahead of time. Great player though. For now he's keeping Jet's seat warm

I noticed that one too. He mumbles, and he mispronounces names all the time. I go nuts every time he says "Barera". Followill is fantastic though!
I don't think Jet will be any easier to listen to. I remember thinking Haywood was really eloquent, but he's been out of Dallas for so long, so maybe he's out for good.
