Barnes killed it tonight, but how about that big shot by Dirk to put us into overtime?

No George Hill. Gobert fouled out and it still took a non-call
But I'll take it

After being down 21 points in the third?
I'll take it too.

Barnes and Curry are gonna be fun to watch for many years.
Anderson's tip dunk on DFS's missed FT seemed to energize the team.

This is why I can't take the Jazz seriously. If they can lose a game like that against a bottom feeder, do we really think they will make any noise in the playoffs? As far as our team goes, the madness continues.

What I've been seeing wasn't near as bad last night. I really focused on Dirk when we were making the run to get back in the game and he was boxing out really nicely. He boxed out Gobert early and had great position. The whole team was really focused to another level on getting that ball after a Jazz shot. In the last few minutes and in O.T. everyone was fundamentally sound aside from one unlucky series of bounces.

Got to watch the game this morning...chills.
Damn Barnes has only gotten better and better. Went ham in OT
Harris flashed back to a decade ago.
Seth Curry I want on this team forever.

When you have a team like the Warriors, is there any team that could make any noise in the playoffs?

I mean they were missing Hill and Hood. 2 of their best 3 offensive players and likely both better at defense than their replacements as well. They have improved every year. And they are about as good as any team not named Cavs, Warriors, and Spurs.

Love Barnes playing like a superstar this game.
And I feel like Harris is always a net positive while on the court even if the pure stats don't back it up. I think he has taken over the Vince Carter role as the wily old vet except with big defensive plays instead of big threes.

Didnt know Hood was out too. We definitely caught them at a good time. 2 losses, home to a team with 2 of their better guys. Ill take it though.
With respect to the WC, I dont think its going to be hard for the Warriors to get to the finals again. Spurs arent the same spurs. Rockets are their only real competition unfortunately.

I would rather watch the Curry brothers battle than any of the other fringe teams that don't stand a chance against them.

I haven't watched a lot of Rockets basketball because fuck Houston, but I imagine they will get exposed in the playoffs when they can't get out and run. Harden won't be able to flop himself to the foul line as often and Mike Dan Tony's offense is made to run not play in a half court set. And we all know how well his Suns teams played defense when he coached there, so I assume Houston is similar.

The difference this year is Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon. Injury free and great sidepieces to Harden. If those two werent there, the Rockettes success would mirror how crappy they were last season.

Sure on offense those 2 are big helps, but neither of them is known for their defensive ability. Like I said I don't watch any of their games, so they could be good on defense. I'm just going off MTD history of coaching teams with no D.

Btw, ratings have gone way up since the Mavs got Yogi.
On the radio, they said it was a rating .79 on FSW before he signed, and a 1.2 since. Could obviously have a lot to do with the fact that they are winning, but it shows that people will come back if they have something new and exciting to watch.

Hood isnt a big factor but they need Hill. Hill played an awesome season, they are a completly different team with him.

Hood played well vs us in his 2 prior games this year though. His season averages are 12-13ppg and 42% from the field. And his previous games vs the Mavs are-
15 on 6-11(He also hit the 3 in OT to win it.)
22 on 9-16
I agree he's not the same level as Hill, or the same level as missing Gobert from fouling out, but this year he's played well vs us and been a factor in those wins.

Is this serious? Why would we want him? I'd rather trade Bogut for a bag of Oreo's and I don't even like Oreo's.
