I am so happy between this and my new girlfriend. She's an actress/musician/model. Totally out of my league and asked me out!

The NBAtv announcers suck balls. Curry is looking great on offense. Getting some tough calls on defense though.

I wish Boban played 36 minutes per game. Not gonna lie. I love watching him play!

Curry is looking especially encouraging. Looks like he’s ready to continue his shooting streak.

I made a friend mad at me when I told him that Seth is a better 3 point shooter (in percentage) over Steph. He wasn't willing to accept that simple fact. Not that I said he can shoot in the same volume as his brother and maintain a similar percentage. I told him that as well.

Yeah, people sort of assume that his size makes him asset to the defense, but the reality is that most of his value comes at the offensive end. He's pretty great if you can get him the ball in scoring position.
The problem is that the post pass is one of the easiest things to take away, defensively. But wow, if you can get it to him down there, he knows what to do with it.

We'd be so much better with one 3/D guy and one more ballhandler capable of creating secondary offense.

They thought Wright would be one or both of those. To this point in the season, he has not.

Did he suit up? He just got there recently. It was reported that he should be ready to go for the opener, but not sure about scrimmages.

Luka, KP and Seth looked great. Relieved.
DFS, Boban and Kleiber were all pretty meh, but had their moments.
Justin Jackson was decent.

Feel like I’ve heard this song lol even after 5 months off, the Mavs weaknesses show themselves within a half of basketball.

Don't want to derail the thread but this is exactly why I'd take a flyer on Josh Jackson this offseason because he potentially fills both roles and does it at a position that we're severely lacking.

A few thoughts- Luka and KP look GREAT. At first anyway. KP got quiet later on, but considering it's basically a preseason game and these guys haven't played in over four months, it's to be expected. I'll never stop worrying about KP's potential for injury, but so long as he's healthy, these two young Euros can do great things in the NBA together. KP's defense on McGee was rough at times, but again, everyone's a bit rusty.
Seth is a deadeye 3 point assassin. Runs in the family, apparently. As much as the Mavs need to improve the roster in the years ahead, Seth needs to stay right where he is. He might be the best catch-and-shoot guy in the league.
Everyone else except for Boban was pretty meh.
Overall, I'm digging the "bubble." I thought it was going to be really jarring having no fans and all, but after a minute or two, I forgot all about it, and it felt like NBA basketball.

And Danny Green was the other 3&D guy. Good news is that these two issues should be doable this offseason um whatever and whenever this offseason is...

Seeing as we don't have any cap space, we only have a few ways to improve
1) Draft picks (we have around the 20 and 31) so mid-first and almost a late first
2) Trade of our players (do any of our guys have value other than Curry?) or this year's first (can't trade any other first rounders until 2025)
3) Cash
4) Bargain bin FAs like MKG and WCS

Yeah unfortunately I'm not expecting any particularly exciting roster moves this offseason. I think it's going to be another year of roughly the same level of talent. We'll probably have to wait until next offseason to get a chance for significant improvement.
