There is absolutely no excuse for Dirk only getting 4 shots in a half.

Luckily we made a lil 5-0 run to end the half for a 49-44 lead

Shawn and Raef 29 minutes? It´s good to see it. They were playing 5 minutes at the same time; it seems that we had a PF on the court.

Anyone have a clue about that bogus over and back call on us? I'd love to hear the refs explanation on that one.
Wish I had the computer in the same room as the TV. Anyways, the Mavs just don't look very sharp. Hope they can turn it on big time in the 3rd. Would really like to see Dirk get the ball more in the post. I think that would help open things up for everyone else. If they are going to guard Dirk one on one in the post they don't have anyone who can stop him.
Oh and that was a Sweeeeet pass and catch by Dirk and Steve to end the half. Just hope that it gives them some momentum to carry over into the 2nd half.

Now we all expect Nick to come in and not shoot well. But to have 2 Nve's on the court is just horrendous. I'm not complaining because somehow we are winning. There are more faults here then our pg's. We are shooting 53% from the field and only hae 49 at halftime? Someone needs to sit Nash down and have a nice long talk with him. Dirk is on pace to have 8 shots for the game. WTF? Why? Fin only has 10 shots so we can't blame Fin this time. I'm not sure if Nash is trying to be the heroe or what not buts it's time for a change and quick we are playing are biggest game this season against the Kings on Weds. and we need to get this problem fixed today. Fin and Dirk are luckily shooting well from the floor right now without the help of our pg's but this isn't gonna happen every game.

Chiwas: I think that much of the time Shawn and Raef were in the game together Nick and Steve were also in. Maybe this is Nellie's way of trying to balance it out defensively for going small at the guard positions.

True Bayliss. I don't understand why Dirk only had 4 shots. Was he getting any touches at all or was he completely without the ball?
Strange thing is, as hot as Fin was, he only managed to get 10 shots. And why in the world did he sit for the last 6 minutes of the half?

I hope your right but by the looks of things either our pg's aren't listening or do not want to follow it.

Much better start.
Nash with a couple 3's and a couple asists.
LOL, I knew Finley would come out cold. He's like 1-4.
Dirk getting some shots, 3-6 in this quarter alone to bring him 6-10.

Dirk's rebounding can be very off because he is always on the right side (perimeter) in the zone. Therefore, it is hard to get rebounds when you are a good 10 feet from the hoop.

Now see Nawsh has hit a couple jumpers and is now 5-12. But look at the result of his jumpers he made. Fin 1-6 and Dirk 3-8. When Fin is on fire you take advantage of that before it turns into a 1-6. All I am gonna say is just post up Dirk in the 4th. I hate to lose this game under these conditions.

Where's Raja? We need some more hustle from somewhere. Mavs look very lathargic. Eddie hurry back.

Agreed LRB. I'd like to see Raja. This is another game where Eddie's absense is felt. When is he coming back?

This is SO weird. I'm back at school so I can't watch the regular broadcast, but it's on Telemundo. It's Los Mavericks de Dallas en Espanol! Fun times.
I can't believe this. Wake up, people! We're LOSING! To the CLIPPERS!
Griffin's still looking pretty good today though.

Dirk hitting some shots and Nash is assisting him and now we're tied.

Every quarter with a 2 as first digit in the scoring, both teams: that´s no Mavericks! Well, 4th can be the exception....

A couple nice plays indeed.
Nash misses, Fin gets the offensive rebound and kicks it out to Dirk for 3.
Then Fin misses and Raef gets the offensive board and basket.
Absolutely amazing how Fin goes 8-10 in the first half, then goes 1-9 in the 2nd.
