Holmes is great at being in the right place on bigs. Defended KAT then snatched the rebound

Holmes is making waves against KAT and Reid.

It's really strange how they make his ass sit the bench all year.
He's definitely a solid backup center when allowed to play.
This is very similar to the Mcgee situation last year where it just doesn't make any sense.

And what is so bothersome is the fact that they need Holmes. And yet they just shoot themselves in the foot vs playing him. It's bizarro.

Yeah it?s not like with Wood where he was focused on mostly getting buckets. Holmes likes being in the paint and being aggressive for rebounds.

Fun half but that?s it for tonight.
Curry Powell and Maxi in simultaneously about to be a long run.
What did we learn? Well nothing. Because we all know Holmes is capable in regular rotation. Same for Omax.

actually kinda pleased that we could hang with them so long.
Some good things for Holmes, OMax, Green, and Hardy
Now we lose by 25 because we're playing the #1 team in the west without 5 of our top 6 players.

Yep. I'll take guys that play hard any day of the week if it means a losing or .500 season anyway.
I really think that's why Luka gets the grief he does from fans and the media. For all his amazing play...the team is rarely fun to watch.

Plenty of room here on the Holmes train. JKidd is a jagoff. He will pine his ass asap.

We need a new training staff. I get that often injuries are unavoidable, but we can't be having our entire starting lineup out. Can't just throw away games.

I like how Holmes unexplainably gets taken out for long ass stretch in the 3rd, then when dumb ass Maxi gets his 5th foul around 8 mins left in 4th, Kidde goes calling foe Holmes. What a T Total fn grade a jackass moron dipshit low life "coach"

We should have been developing Prosper from day 1. At worst, he would still be better than Williams.

Saw on twitter from Dalton Trigg: Mavs are 64-66 since the 2022 WCF run
we can make all the excuses we want, but the truth is this team is average. And this is what we expected with Kidd being brought in. I hope FO makes some kind of move, but with this coaching staff, Im not convinced most of the reported moves do anything to help the team.

I'm officially on the trade Kyrie train if he misses the next game. There really is no point in having a 40 mil dollar star that doesn't play. His issues have nothing to do with flat earth or whatever and everything to do with always being hurt.
And if we say, well Dwight Powell landed on his ankle, welp, we all know where Powell should be as well...

Im fine with him this year, he played 60 last year and the last time he did that was 2018-2019 with celtics.
At this point its looking like 50 games at best. That is shit, but I think he can be used for a better trade in offseason or next season.

Thank you. Welcome aboard bubba. If we are being honest, its not just because hes hurt a lot like Porzingis was. He isnt a good fit defensively next to Luka.

More than that...he doesn't take the load off of Luka. That should be primary goal number one.
Instead, we have a stupid coach who will play Luka to his grave.
Again though, if healthy, we have a decent starting lineup. Luka/Kyrie/Green/Williams/Lively is solid. And if you made a trade, then maybe it's Washington in there instead of Williams. Gravy.
Doesn't matter if everyone is hurt. And I don't know how you can make decisions at the deadline with such a dilemma.

True this is a huge problem. Sad to think Luka and Jalen will never play together again, because he's everything we need to take pressure off Luka and actually win games. I know its a dead horse, but the org still hasnt recovered.

Except that Jalen's size was eventually exposed in the playoffs.
The org never fixed what really ailed them...defense and rebounding. They finally got a center, but it was yet another season after. And they never thought Lively would be this good, this early. And instead of addressing the backup center position, they kept Powell.
Of course I wanted to keep Brunson, but it was Kevon Looney who truly exposed our issues.

The thing is even if we had kept Brunson and decided it wasn't a good fit, we would have gotten something decent for him in return. Losing him for nothing was inexcusable.
As for Kyrie... yeah too unstable to build a foundation on. Glad he's chilling and making bucks. At least he hasn't said anything dumb lately (that i know of)

I couldn't give a cripled crab a crutch about Maxis stupid nose.
Thr only thing wrong with his nose is that its attached to the same body that wears a Mav uni.

Lively to miss the next two games. Kyrie may too.
At that point we?ll have the complete starting lineup for 18 out of 50 games this season
