Dirk could have had 18 fts. SA was doing a lot of holding and pushing on him. You just can't do that everytime. Duncan hasn't averaged more than 5 or 6 ftas in years. Most of his moves are jump hooks or face up bank shots, you don't get fouled on those much.

I was very happy when they called someone (Bogans?) for using two hands and grabbing the jersey trying to deny position. Announcers said no foul, but it was one. Step in the right direction for the refs, who as we've chronicled this season often don't call that.

So what is that...86 consecutive free throws made by Dirk? I think that qualifies as "in the zone."

when one retorts with personal attack to respond to other's opinion that is different from his own, that is quite pathetic; but when one personally attacks other's opinion when his own opinion is totally nonsense, well, "What an idiot. What a colossal idiot".

I agree...duncan is a very, very tough cover. Damp's done just about as well as anyone else I've seen. When he gets touch fouls he's really tough.

1)dude, don't call others sweetheart, especially if you do not know them.
2)why do you not just respond to exactly what others stated, instead of what you guess what they think? putting words in other's mouth is not a good way for conversation, even on Internet chatrooms.
3)btw, you've provided no evidence what so ever in this thread so far to support your nonsensical opinon.

Just as an aside: the final score of this game was a 99-99 tie after factoring in hollinger's homecourt advantage and rankings.

Diop was the greatest Duncan stopper of all time.

Quote of the Day, from San Antonio's Tim Duncan on Dirk:
"Hats off to him. He played an unbelievable game. We're going to have to make a couple adjustments, and I can go ahead and bet he's not going to go 12-of-14 again.”
