Yup...lol

I don't think Winslow has another huge night in him tomorrow...8-15 was realistic. The lack of an average game from Rivers hurt (credit to your D) and Boldin couldn't keep up with Warner and Fitzy.

Either way, GG jthig!!

Hey! At least I have a better sweat now.

Apparently they botched the end of the Pitt/SD game and they DID call a bogus forward pass motion on the last play with the laterals. SO the turnover doesn't count and the return TD by Troy Polamalu is null and void.

this is from the Yahoo article:
The first such score in 12,837 NFL games was in jeopardy when Troy Polamalu returned an errant lateral 12 yards for an apparent touchdown on the final play. The play was overturned on review—it was called an illegal forward pass—and the 11-10 final was restored.

After the game, referee Scott Green said the officials realized afterward the touchdown should have counted, though it wouldn’t have affected the result.

I'm gonna need Marshawn Lynch to outscore Braylon Edwards by 13 points tomorrow night, just to tie.

It's my own fault for leaving Lance Moore and his 26 points on the bench.

Man, I watched the end of that game and I could have SWORN the ref said "penalty declined, touchdown". Am I crazy?

I mean I stil feel pretty good, but there's still a chance I lose. Stupid refs.

Yeah, I think they changed it as the broadcast went off air or something and then they realized the error but said, in essence...who cares?

You SHOULD feel pretty good about your chances. I'll have to hope Quinn loves Winslow like a fat kid loves cake tonight. Have a performance like he did last Thursday.

Ok so now I have a few flashes of greatness, a game where he didn't touch the ball once, and now he's out for the season??

Do I keep Felix Jones in the keeper league, or not?

Depends on your other keepers. Petersen is obvious, and I imagine you'll keep Plaxico.

Beyond that, you gonna keep Gates? McNabb? I dunno, interesting call.

Plaxico has been a mammoth disappointment this season. So has McNabb, although he's still healthy so that's a miracle.

Gates is declining fast. I don't think I would keep him. I was hoping Ronnie Brown would really turn into something in Miami, but he's just kind of so-so...

That's a tough call.
Maybe Plax gets shipped out in the offseason, they can obviously win without his antics. McNabb...eh, maybe with a new team some fresh life can be given to him. Gates, he's still in the top tier of TEs and those are hard to base consistency off of, so it's good to have a top level guy.

It is tough though, can see you going either way with Felix.

Hiow about some sit/start help, my brothers. I really, really need to get a win this week. Actually, two wins. This league is on rtsports.com, and we play a doubleheader each week, which is pretty cool. The twist is that your flex spot is also open to TE's and even kickers. Here's what I'm working with:

QB: Matt Ryan
RB: Portis and Forte
TE: Owen Daniels

WR is a huge pile of stinking crap, which every once in a while does something decent. I need to find two starters out of this mess:

TO
D Mason
Coles
Justin Gage
Berrian
Lance Moore

After choosing two WR's to start, I need a flex player. Obviously all the WR's. The other choices are:

TE Dustin Keller (kid is looking like's Favre's BFF)
RB Peyton Hillis
RB Tatum Bell
RB Ray Rice

What would you do?

EDIT: By the way, it's a PPR league.

EDIT #2: The way I'm seeing it, I'm leaning towards choosing between Hillis and Keller for the flex...and choosing the two least evils at WR. I guess TO is probably a must start. If so, I just need to choose whichever second WR is going to piss me off the least, and of course make the flex choice. Would any of you choose a #3 WR on my roster full of bums instead of Hillis or Keller?

I would trust Lance Moore over Gage, but that's my opinion.

^ somehow I missed T.O.'s name on that list...

These are all gut-calls - I don't have any more "facts" than anyone else:

T.O. - duh (it feels a lot like "fantasy redemption" today...)

Gage - Collins looks good to go in a 2nd half shoot-out against Favre, and Gage should be the beneficiary...

Hillis - I see the Broncos winning in the first half and running clock with Hillis in the second (despite their defense keeping it interesting...)

Mason - his shoulder & Philly's defense make him a risky play with less potential upside than the guys listed above (but I'm on the fence...)

Coles/Keller - like I said: I don't trust Favre this week (but Keller is the better of the two, if YOU have faith in the old man...)

Moore - feels like Coleston is due back as Brees' #1 option against a stout Green Bay defense (also think Shockey finally gets more targets this week...)

Berrian - they call his QB "Gus the Bus" for a reason (are you trying to win or tread water?)

Tatum Bell - I think Hillis' performance last week earns him a bulk of the carries...

Ray Rice - end zone virgin (with the run...)

Any opinions on my flex play this week - Brandon Marshall or Joseph Addai?

(I'm pretty sure I know who I'm rolling with, but another opinion never hurts...)

Is it a PPR league? Even if it is, I think I'm going Addai if I'm you. The kid seems to be rounding back into form, as is that Indy offense. I expect Oakland to pay a lot of attention to that Marshall.

Thanks to all of you for your feedback on my question. I think I'm going to go with TO and Gage, and roll the dice on Hillis for the flex. If I get to feeling about Keller in the next hour, I'll play him at TE instead of Owen Daniels.

Oh, and Chum - it's a standard ESPN league, not PPR...

I think you'll need to start him unless Marshall has an absurdly good matchup. Addai should be pretty dang good the rest of the year.

Favre TD
Walter TD

gotta keep it up!

Honestly, I'm tired of him. There are at least 6-10 WRs I'd much rather have on the Cowboys than TO.

Um...no.

I'm tired of the Cat and Mouse game he plays and how any little thing he does blows up in the media. There are guys out there with his talent and a LOT less baggage.

Oh, and Chum - it's a standard ESPN league, not PPR...
Marshall might get shut down today. He's probably going to be blanketed by the best corner in the league today. People don't even throw to Asomugha's side of the field.

Randy Moss

Guys that could get there or are close:
Fitzgerald, Jennings, Calvin Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Boldin, Colston

I could put Marshall in there, but I KNOW he'll cause just as many problems as TO.
Those guys though are in the conversation, and can get better and don't have the issues you have to deal with when dealing with TO.

There are several guys out there with comparable talent. Fitz, C. Johnson, and Moss are probably on the same level. At the same time, good luck actually landing any of those guys on your team so I'm not going to complain about TO.

Right. I know you're not going to get any of those guys...but don't make TO to be the end all be all of WRs. I'm just sick of his complaining, just go play football.

Looks like we're going to be in disagreement, you're undercutting a lot of players value/talent.

Boldin reminds me a lot of Hines Ward, but even more physical. He loves to block people and really get in on it and then he is a monster possession receiver and even more so in the Red Zone.

But really...Boldin isn't the only person out of that list....

I'm not sure I would agree with that. Boldin is probably one of the lesser talents on that list. He's good because he plays smart and he plays hard, but not so much because of pure natural talent.

I'm glad I was paying attention during the Cowboys game where they announced Jacobs was inactive. I was able to switch Ward in, and he's already got me a touchdown.

Yeah, I agree...he's in consideration, but he is where he should be on my list.
