The Kings at the end of the day can say they have Rudy and Cousins and some youth.

Well I'm glad the national media covered Wade and his dissatisfaction of how massively underpaid he was. It was totally worth the month long soap opera that ends in him opting out of 1yr 16m and getting 1yr 20m.

and 33 million of DRY UNUSED powder with a doubtful monta snt option. with all that cap, they may as well be a salary dump team in exchange for future assets. dirk has gotta be super pissed at a paycut for this repeated teardown and wishful pitches that net nothing so far. perhaps deandre changes this, but he's got a nice situation in LA too with same money.

Players aren't going to want to be in a situation where the coach might be fired right away or Cousins traded tomorrow. Anything can happen, but that is a paltry amount if you want to avoid that situation.
