I'm not sure if Game Three against SAC or this game was the best Mavs game I have ever seen. Probably this game!

This was amazing. Did anyone else hear that Dirk was reportedly wearing a back brace before the game?

Jason Terry was simply amazing. He should be re-signed immediatey for a bazillion a year. What a clutch performance.

Damn, this board is busy. Hope this goes through this time.
What a finish. Pop has been outcoached in this game. And thank you Barry for throwing the ball away in regulation.

Terry was amazing. Dirk's clutch FT's were amazing. Stack made some damn good shots. Harris had a huge rebound and was very good. Damp and Diop made some absolutely huge lays.

here's a stat we can all enjoy: "Since Duncan joined the club in 1997, the Spurs are 0-5 when trailing this deep into a playoff series. "

My friends, I've said it a crapload of times, but you are in fact watching the greatness that is your Dallas Mavericks work their way to the first championship in our history.
Savor it. Enjoy it. You are watching greatness personified.

I dont' think Pop was outcoached tonight. I think Pop brought a terrific game-plan to this game. But, I think Pop is outmatched here. It's a lot like I used to argue about Nellie. You are getting the absolute best out of your Bucks team, but the Sixers and Celtics are holding you down. That's what Pop is running into. I thought he coached a terrific game tonight. It could have been twenty if he hadn't. But he is up against it.
And with Finley's heroics, he almost got there.
We took their best punch tonight. It won't get that good again.

That's back to back games in which the Mavs have taken a haymaker on the chin from the Spurs but somehow managed to pull the game out.

Indeed
And this is the first time we've been up on the Spurs in the playoffs since 2002-2003 when we won game 1 and then lost the next three
Wow that sounds familiar

Exactly... The Spurs are definitely going to put up a fight, but they aren't going to throw anything at the Mavericks more than they already have. What... a... game!

WOW... GREAT GAME... I TOOK TOMORROW OFF FROM WORK SO I COULD ENJOY THIS GAME LIVE... I HONESTLY DON'T THINK I HAVE BEEN HAPPIER THAN THIS AS A MAV FAN...
ONE WIN OUT OF FOUR AND WE ARE IN THE WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS VS. SUNS OR CLIPS... I HAVE TO SAY I AM NOT AFRAID OF EITHER.
GO MAVS!

You know it's just eating away at Charles that Dirk, not the mavs, has a chance to win a title.
He got dunked on by this guy and his auburn offer was turned down. Sucks to be Chuck.

Are you getting ready to say that this was bigger than Game Seven against the Kings, or Game Six against the Lakers in '88?
I'm inclined to agree, though I might still give the edge to the '88 win because it put the Mavs deeper than they had been before or have been since. But the future may prove that this game was bigger.
For now, this is unequivocally the second-biggest win in Mavericks history. If they summarily dismiss the next foe and play for it all, it will be--to that point--the biggest win.

We won this game, but don't get overconfident! We cannot have both of our centers foul out and expect to win anymore like this one. Avery has got to play mBenga, we've got to have the luxury of Damp and preferably Diop at the end of the game!
And while I'm at it, can anyone give me a good reason why Griffin can't have Quisy's minutes? Quis isn't doing $hit, he's playing scared. Let's give the seasoned vet the nod!

This game could have been a series sweep for us. We have been in every single game against the spurts this year. This is a championship team.

Chum - I'd argue with MFFL that this was indeed the best Mavericks game ever. I mean ever. And I have seen basically all of them. I cannot remember a game like this including the ones you mentioned (which were all great).
