geez feliz - struck out the side on 13 pitches including grady sizemore

5 in a row and 5/6 strikeouts...

if batters see him more than once do they adjust? pretty crazy start to his MLB career...

^ The gamecasts said Laird went back-to-back with someone, while in fact, he did not. He lined out. They just screwed up.

It doesn't matter, though, freaking Rangers are officially .5 out of the Wild Card Race!!! Not only that, but after 3 games with Boston, we're going to be leading the Wild Card by 2.5 games!

Oh, and that Neftali Feliz kid, he's okay. He might even be on the team next year! /extreme sarcasm

Honestly, my mother is suffering from cancer at the moment. So, all mother jokes should probably take a back seat to wishing her the best with her struggle.

I absolutely knew the second I saw the link what you were linking to. How am I supposed to make him feel bad for his post if you're going to try and reverse the whip on me?

Regardless, I was joking.. no, not joking about the cancer thing with my mother, but joking about being upset by a "mother" joke. I thought his post was actually kinda funny.

Thanks..but, let's focus on baseball.

I'm not even remotely interested in pre-season football... and that's amazing. I love football (maybe not as much as baseball, I don't know..it's close).. but I would hands down choose a Rangers game over a pre-season Cowboys game at this point.

Never in my life have I attended a more painful, heart-wrenching game. One strike away...wtf. I felt like Forrest Griffin did against Anderson Silva. Except worse. That was a punch to the stomach times 1000.

We've tried Frankie, we've tried CJ, they've both failed.

Anyone on the "O'Day should close" bandwagon now?

And I'm only partly kidding.

The infield single Varitek beat out changed the game. It was too close for even the replays to be able to tell whether Varitek made it or not. Call could easily have gone either way. It goes our way, we win. It didn't, and that happened.

Yep, the Rangers have lost 2 games this season when leading going into the 9th. The pen has been phenomenal. It sucks, but they're more than likely going to go out and shut the Red Sox down when given another shot. (talking about the main 4 in the pen)

Feliz FTW! Last six outs and WIN! Awesome way to come back from last night's heartbreaker.

Holland with the win, Feliz with another dominant two innings, Elvis and Borbon run wild, the Rangers win with a packed house in August.

I'm overdosing on Rangers right now.

Holland definitely looks like a good prospect. I've watched him pitch about 4 times so far this year. I've been impressed ith all of them I've seen.
