He did say he is encouraged after the two practices and believes his speed and quickness are very close to pre-injury levels.

"If I'm ready on Wednesday, if I feel good, I might play on Wednesday," Beaubois said. "Or, if not, my goal is really to at least after the All-Star break just be ready to play. Like I said, after practice, day after day I will be able to see where I am."

More to come here on Beaubois' situation, where he fits into the rotation and how much he can expect to play.

Awesome. So extremely excited for his return.. The more the media people downplay Roddy and laugh at the high expectations by fans, the more I am confident that he can bring to this team what it desperately needs from him on a consistent basis if he stays healthy. I pray to Moses Malone that Carlisle lets him play a little bit.

Carlisle is basically right to keep emotions down. He comes back from injury ... could have a slow start and is inexperienced. I certainly hope though that he nonetheless has confidence in the guy and will give him as many minutes as possible.

"I don’t think there is any doubt about that, but that’s just a fact of life." The coach continued to stress the point that he is not concerned about incorporating the French guard back in the rotation and how it could affect what JJ Barea and Jason Terry have done over the course of the season.

I don't geez, they're the competition. They freaking out rebounded the Suns, minus Cousins. Evans is going to be a top 10 player. Westphal is the wrong coach for that group. First there was Rodman, then there was Sheed, followed by Artest....and now Cousins.

I don't think the Kings are neccesarily an easy win. Remember this is the Mavs. They have a way of playing down to their competition. It's those easy wins were they let off on the gas pedel. Remember the close game against the Cavs.

He didn't beat anyone, he beat a number. He was called out on his ups and was challenged to jump a certain height and he did it.
