It's just so steady through and through. I know what I'm going to get from Chuck every time. They bring their A game every week, and it it is light hearted and it is funny and it is awesome.
It has been picked up for a whole season by the way, So we can wait and fret over its fate in the spring.

Yep, I just watched this week's Chuck. It wasn't their best episode, but it was still very solid. The hot chick liking chuck is totally believable. I didn't think they'd be able to pull that off, but they've presented Chuck in such a manner that it is totally possible.

yep, Chuck was great again. LOVED the look Chuck gave Casey after he moaned seeing the bomber. hilarious little scene.
I also got around to watching Pushing Daisies from last week. That show also never fails to entertain.

Entourage's current season is probably the best one ever. It's been a real treat watching.... Jeremy Piven is amazing.

I haven't seen this weeks Chuck yet..
But, I did kick Heroes to the curb.
Personally, I blame The Wire for my kicking of shows to the curb. Since I started watching The Wire, I've kicked 5 shows to the curb. The Wire is just too good. I cannot watch TV the same now as I used to in the past. The Wire has just raised the bar too much.

Check this out to see how safe your favorite shows are from cancellation or not:
http://spoilertv.blogspot.com/2008/1...dex-table.html
Apparently the guy who makes that was bang on last year, but he's already changed it a lot this year. Chuck has moved to the "likely to be renewed category" but Pushing Daisies looks like it is doomed. Terminator, Sarah Conner Chronicles is also looking very very doomed.

I will really, really miss Life.
Although, if they're moving it to Wednesday, maybe they're going to give it some time.

Ratings for Chuck have improved 3 weeks in a row.
Life: Still haven't got into this one yet...I guess by the time I do it will be too late.
I'm going to try to work on Mad Men during the xmas tv break, but we'll see.

no one who likes good story telling, direction, and acting will not like Mad Men...I could see some accusing it of being too slow, but other than the fact that it doesn't wrap up in a nice tidy bow every episode, this show is exceptional.

Great shows
Lets face it. TV sucks. But every now and then a show comes along that makes you cry like weeping grandmother, or piss your pants laughing. Here are some shows I thoroughly enjoy.
1. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia-
Hands down the funniest show on tv. Pure unadulterated cynicism, and gut-wrenchingly hilarious dialogue.
2. The Closer-
I've never had an opinion of Kyra Sedgwick as an actress before watching this, but she's just so damn good in this show. One of the better cop shows to come along in the past decade.
3. Battlestar Galactica-
What can I say? Just can't get enough of it.
4. Nip/Tuck
The first three seasons were sheer brilliance. The fourth season sucked. Didn't get to see much of season 5, but I still catch it when I can.
5. South Park
One of the few shows in TV history that got better with age. I still love it.
Name your shows!
Edit: I just now scrolled down and saw pretty much the exact same thread posted by Sike. Sorry. Mods please delete if you deem necessary.

Say what you will about Nip/Tuck and Battlestar, but It's Always Sunny is pure genius.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a sad day. I finished the last two episodes of season 3 of The Wire. It is amazing TV. I don't know how they keep up with the TV that they've created over the first 3 seasons. I cannot imagine season 4 and 5 being as good as the first 3. It's truly a sad day. But I cannot wait to start season 4.
Damn, I don't know what I'm going to do when I finish this series. It has changed the way I view TV. Seriously, if you're ok with the shows you watch now, don't even start The Wire. They've ruined TV for me to an extent. It is truly that good. There are shows that I used to watch religiously that I can't even find the time to fit into my not so busy schedule simply because I know that they cannot come close to providing the type of entertainment that The Wire provides.
I lay awake at night thinking about the characters in the show... thinking about what must be going on in their heads.. thinking about the cases... thinking about what's coming next.
Stay away from this show. Do yourself a favor if you're happy with your normal TV shows. This is the best TV show ever created. It never lets up. Every episode fits into the series perfectly. You end up caring about what happens to each character. No, you don't like every character, but you're not supposed to. But even those that you don't 'like', you deeply care about what happens to their character and how it happens.
It is an amazing show.
Yeah, I know I posted this in the what's in the DVD thread.. but oh well.

It's not for everyone, but the new USA series of Little Britain is pretty funny.

Yep..and also Ben Gordon, the eighth man to walk on the moon. I can't believe you left him out.
Its a British sketch show...its extremely dirty....but hysterical (IMO).
