Luka is a very average shooter from the 3pt line. I have no idea why rick lets him shoot 15 a game when he shoots like 60% near the ring! We're the worst clutch team in the league that isnt tanking.

he is a below average 3 point shooter which obviously isn't a huge deal looking at his stats and splits, but it does mean it shouldn't be such a large volume probably

Yeah, all things considered, especially with the Powell injury - that had to be a huge emotional swing - I thought they fought hard and hung in there. We still need another 5 with size for depth, but I think with KP, Bobi, Maxi, we can hang with the Clippers. However, I don't think they'll hold up over a playoff series without another big to give them some rest. Somebody to especially spell Maxi would be ideal imo.

It needs to be hammered home that KP, yes after a few games, needs to figure it out on offense. That is such a puzzling negative to the season that just hasn't been resolved at all. I seriously thought the last thing that we should be worried about would be KP's offense.

Boban seems to match up well vs the Clippers. If the Mavs had Covington along with DFS to throw out there, against George and Kawhi, then Porzingis, Maxi, and Boban might be all the center you need.

You can't beat the refs. This game was lost when Harrell got to the ft line on a charge and shamet hit a 3 after a blatant foul on a rebound

Wright is the same player he has been the last 5 seasons and the stats are basically identical to his Toronto numbers. Wright's problem is that he doesn't know how to run a team and isn't a very good pg. We have plenty of those guys on the team already.

I guess it's cool that DP goes down and we played hard...but If PG13 plays we get our asses blown apart.

Maxi and Dfs both had crucial failure to closeout to 3pt shooters down the stretch.

KP is underwhelming. Any real good games from him are a bonus? Feels like a season full of First games back excuses but I guess he can have another one tonight.

Lukas legs have to be tired from constantly carrying this team.

Doc is annoying af and whiney.

In hindsight, I don't hate that Rick didnt use the challenge because the refs would have blown the review anyway and we lose the timeout. Also hindsight, maybe if we had pushed the ball the Clips wouldn't have been coached up on fouling before we can get a 3 off for the tie.
