Terrible defense...why are we sucking this bad at something that was percieved as one of our biggest strengths just weeks ago? Its not just defense, too many second chance points. Got to fix that.

It doesn't help that they're knocking down some crazy threes.

On defense:

1) RC should run a workshop on how to fight through screens. This is something really basic and they're giving up wide-open jumpers because they're getting screened out.
2) Defensive boards need to be secured. With Damp out, Marion and Gooden need to step in and protect the boards.
3) Far too many wild and crazy shots seem to fall against them. This is beyond coincidence.

Without a healthy Dampier, this team can't play defense. Without Dampier, this need is very poor at setting picks as well. Everything is iso now. At least Gooden is scoring a lot but we need a second defensive center like Diop used to be.
