I remember Wright missing so bad early in the year on long jumpers.
Like he was rarely even close. He has improved so much it's crazy.

I really hope that Wright is taking a legitimate step forward as a player, and isn't just on a hot streak. He has played very well in the last few games.

LOOK AT KIDD SO HAPPY!!!
i remember people sayin how kidd is kinda passin the torch along to JJ or at least becomin his mentor. thats so right! he is so excited when JJ scores!!
THREE THREES!!! i love it. the driving, D, and shootin combined make JJ VERY dangerous. without dirk involved on offense, we are really handlin this game well

Nice job JJ. Get Dirk the ball more though. Also although Stack is sucking it up on offense.. his defensive game isn't so bad too night.

You can't fade on that Dirk. You had good position on Battier and you made yourself his height and made the shot tougher than it needed to be. Turn your body into him, shoot over the top, but towards the hoop.

wanted to have 15 pt lead at half. doesnt look like it now, and i dont want rockets to have any momentum.
3rd is gonna be REALLY important for us to keep the lead going
and DAMN if that artest shot fell, that would have been a VERy wasted effort in that 2nd qtr, but it didnt. so good then. good.

I wouldn't expect the same thing in the second half.

I really was pleased with that last situation with Josh on offense. He had Artest all over him and there have been times where he would've hoisted up a step away jumper, instead he kept the dribble going and built up some momentum and drove to the basket.
It seemed like Dallas lost it's groove once Kidd and Co. went to the bench. Sure JJ carried the load at that time, but it was necessary b/c if it didn't come our lead would have evaporated.

Hubie was saying the Rockets were playing bad and only down 9. They are shooting better than the Mavs from the field, and are outrebounding the Mavs. How is that poor?
The Mavs played poorly from the 6 minute mark in the second quarter.

I really say this in the most immature way possible but......
JOHN BARRY CAN EAT MY NUTS.
Seriously, any person with eyes could see how good Josh was in the first half. But of course, Barry made point that it took him fifteen shots to get sixteen points. Thanks John. Why don't you go and be insignificant somewhere else.
Of course Howard will have more shot attempts with Terry out. I wish he was more "efficient" too, but his energy and hustle were there. This is why using just stats to make a point makes you look rather dopy.

Thank goodness I'm not watching the ESPN telecast.
At least he'd be pleased our stud Stack is back.
Did he even acknowledge Dirk's performance or is he really selling Pro-Houston stuff?

Houston has been pretty sloppy with the ball thus far though.
Both teams are shooting poorly though.
We should win this if Dirk starts to get it going. If not, ugh.

Are you kidding me? You are not watching the game if you don't like what Howard is providing. You want him to take shots early on, that is what he does. He has played an all-around game though so far and had an insane help-side block.

Well, I wish I lived close enough to get the Dallas channels without League Pass. I hate having to listen to the National broadcasts. But when they are on these channels, League Pass won't show the FSN or the UPN broadcast. It sucks.
And he was praising the Mavs too. Of course he was praising the 2006 version such as: Stack can get you 15-20 points a game off the bench.

I dunno, he took a few irritating shots and missed Wright on a potential fast break. Missed a wide open corner 3 too (I HATE missed wide open CORNER 3's!) The defensive play was nice though.

Dirk is trying to pumpfake Battier at the free throw line extended. He won't block your shot, Dirk.
And now it is a ballgame.
