Glad Fortson took out his rage on Dirk rather than his girlfriend again.

If I didn't need to spread that love more, that would be rep points. That was flat prophetic.
I can't say enough for the way Dirk is leading this team this year. He is WILLING this team to stay in games and bring the energy, especially in the 4th quarter. It is freaking fun to watch this guy grow up, and this is a HUGE step for him and this team.
Now, with that said, go win the frigging game!

It's ok with those missed ft's when you nail 3's like that all the time.

Man I missed JET over the past few games. A trip to Seattle was the perfect medicine for whatever ailed him.

Terry was killing us for most of the game IMO. Flip was killing him and he couldn't keep either Ray or Luke in front of him, so his 4th quarter really saved him.

I can not say enough about this game. It was incredible to watch, and DAMN, what a nice win. I mean a really nice win. No Marquis, Devin was sick, and Stackhouse is, understandably, very rusty.
The insertion of DA in the fourth was HUGE, JET was huge, oh, and that German guy is pretty good. I mean seriously, this is geting ridiculous. We now just expect Dirk to score at will in the 4th, and lead by example AND by words. Words can't describe how much I love watching that big German right now.

I wish Avery or Dirk or someone would figure it out before the last part of every game, it would make us all feel a lot healthier. I scream too loud and it scares the dogs.

Goodness, Dirk was sick tonight. 34, 13, and SEVEN. The assists might be the next level in his game. They were huge tonight, as he found Terry for big shots...and Terry knocked them down.
34, 13, and 7. The guy is in a bit of a groove right now. Wow, can you imagine if we can keep those assist numbers up for him?

Damn company Dinner! And they refused having it in the bar where there was a TV!
I'm glad I didn't get a speeding ticket to watch the game as it was getting on the 90's. Anyone got a recap?

Dirk is becoming a man in foureth quarters. He does his thing in the first. Coasts a little in the 2nd and 3rd while scoring here and there but letting others score. Then in the 4th, BOOM!.... he just scores. Hell, he doesn't even shy away from calling for the ball, the shot, the foul, the hard rebound, the nasty pass to the open man. He has morphed into a superplayer in the 4th.
(And does nyone believe Mav fans would be seeing that kind of attitude under Nellie? I damn sure don't think so.)

That was really fun to watch.
I guess Devin was under the weather, which would have explained why he barely played in the 2nd half. He came out a bit out of control when he entered in the 4th, and AJ made a GREAT substitution with Armstrong. His defense was key to the comeback.
Dirk and Terry looked fantastic tonight. I agree with whoever said it was nice to have the JET back. That's the guy that wins games for ya.
Dirk Nowitzki...MVP?
I'm just sayin'...

Good point, and as they pointed out on the broadcast, it's the 5th back-to-back for the Mavs...most in the league.
The team appears to have shaken off the purportedly devastating Lakers loss.

Dirk and Terry in the Christmas spirit did their own impersonation of Jesus for Ray Allen.
And I give them an Oscar for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor.

I can't say enough about how vital DA was to this win. It was only in those last 5 minutes or so after the insertion of DA that we were able to bring enough defensive pressure. We should have been doing it from the start, but didn't. DA was scrambling and running out on them nicely, nobody was getting those easy looks any more.
The key on such a good shooting team like the Sonics is defensive pressure and making them struggle to get those easy looks.

Dirk hit some huge shots, Terry hit some huge shots. Comes down to about 45 seconds left, Dirk drives and is capped by Lewis, who grabs the ball. As the Sonics try to go back up court, Terry comes flying in and steals the ball, then feeds Dirk for a nasty dunk over Lewis. Then on the next possession, the Sonics miss, the Mavs get the board. The Mavs feed Dirk in the post, the Sonics double, Dirk kicks out to Terry, who buries a 3. Mavs up 4 with 18-19 seconds to go. It was basically all over from there.
